5+ mins to Load into Tower!
The last 2 nights I have been in an infinite tower loading time trying to fly in. Over 5 minutes and nothing happens. I let this go for closer to 10 mins and then had to backout to char select. What the hell is going on?

Just 5 min. Shut up you are lucky. It is always minimum 5 min+. Also played momentum control in the morning. Took like nearly 5 min after each match to get to the next match. Slowly we are getting to break even point playtime/waiting time with that game.

That being said I play on console and PC and feel the load in times are the same as they always been. If it’s on Bungies side I would have thought it would effect everyone but I have not had this long load time experience at all. I use an SSD on PC and my internet has extremely high bandwidth so I’m not sure if that’s a contributing factor to my experience or not.

4 RepliesPlayed saturday for the first time in over a month, instantly regretted it. Load times for me were a consistent 35 seconds to the tower. It's now consistently 4 minutes plus. At this point, I don't think I'll be coming back, ever. The incompetence is too unbearable, coupled with the complete lack of respect for our time. D2 is a lost cause.

1 ReplyIt's hit and miss. Before the update Jan 28th, I was consistently less than 30 seconds load to the tower (SSD Xbox one X). After the update, it varies between 30 seconds and 7 minutes. The times it loads at 7 minutes I spawn with 20 other guardians. This weeks update did not fix the issue, but perhaps I'm getting more ofter quick loads (but still getting the long loads). Another thing about the Jan 28th update that really bothers me, I no longer load into all planet a full 60 seconds ahead of my fireteam (they have slow HDD). Instead I have to wait, and we all load in at once. It's easy conclude what's happened here. They changed the game code so that guardians load in with together with their fireteams, waiting for the slowest player (HDD and network connection dependent). This also affects tower loading since they seem to clump in many guardians to load together in the same manor. Shockingly, I believe this dramatic change was done to fix a rather minor bug: [b]black screen loading crucible matches.[/b] I would rather the black screen crucible loading return, it was a minor nuisance.

Load times take forever. I like to run strikes and do the bonus bounties for dust. The load times takes longer than the strikes.

Last night I was in the process of replying saying my load times weren't too bad (PS4). And then I was forced to stop typing and eat my words. I'll let you guess what's happening to me now.

IT is getting very bad, usually I can load into the game and head to the tower, go outside for a quick half joint then back inside and be landing.. Lately.. I can have the full joint.. and no powersmoking it either. Head inside, take a bathroom break.. then make some type of quick snack.. noodles, you know 10 minutes or less type stuff.. its getting bad and annoying. I spend more time flying to the tower, then I do in a pvp match or quick strike.
