Seriously. Find this shit hysterical. Rollbacks didn’t fix the problem the first time, but hey, let’s do it all again. Then again next week.

You'd figure with all the shit they've charged us for, plus the exorbitant prices in their pervasive cash shop, they'd at least be able to make their game work. But, that's a bridge to far when you're a lonely little gnome of an ex-Kotaku writer who is in no way qualified to run a game studio, I suppose.

3 RepliesI get the people that critique the game so that it may become better but what are you doing in the forums following along with a game you seem to hate so much. Move on to something you like and stop spending your energy here.

I found the contents of this thread to be unintelligible. Possibly, if you as a group are able to elucidate the nature of your objection in a way that is actionable then may your grievances be addressed by that entity that balances the nature of the universe. To become hysterical over the failure of some action to remedy a complex and evolving disruption, and then in turn to become hysterical at each further instance of remedial action against some disruption may indeed lend such parties to various judgements which may not be all that said parties would prefer or even expect, but such is the nature of reality

Ready for Trials lol

1 ReplyIt's not the dev's fault. Leadership allows for this sort of behavior. The code that is causing all of this is still present in the game. All they're doing is stitching things up. Until they actually remove the bad code from the game, this sort of thing can happen again and again.

1 ReplyThe only way they know how to increase difficulty is to increase annoyance level. Which is breaking pretty much the #1 cardinal rule of gaming. Almost every enemy can repeatedly teleport. Repeatedly throw grenades while you have to wait 5 minutes for a "sticky grenade" which uses teflon as a sticking agent. Almost every enemy can stomp you, sending you miles away. To think I once had hope they would realize this massive mistake and fix, except for maybe just really big dudes. But no, regular enemies and tiny bosses can do it too. I've been stomped into a wall by The Trickster. You know the one that's about 80 lbs soaking wet? Also a Servitor. The one that never goes below 50 feet and has no limbs. This along with many, many other stupid game mechanics. It's a real shame because the game has a lot of great concepts. It's like a few real sharp minds thought up the idea, but hired a bunch of monkeys to execute it. Really the game just needs to be handed to a completely different team. It's far too late for half-measures to have a hope of saving this rudderless ship.

Before every major release (for example, Shadowkeep), we do comprehensive stress testing to try and model user behavior and its impact on our service architecture. Because there’s no substitute for millions of real player behaviors, we supplement this testing by closely monitoring service metrics after launch.
Did they just admit to not testing their game before launch?

2 RepliesSadly it appears that Bungie’s focus is elsewhere. If I was to guess where that focus is I’d guess on the new IP. The Netease game. Merely speculation on my part. It does make sense when you look at all the bugs, etc since Shadowkeep. I just wish Bungie would could come clean to the player base so we can accept the game in the shape it’s in as opposed to having hope it actually gets better.

Bungie needs to go beg for Activision to take them back, back them we had rise of iron and tons of exotics and not a single rollback!
-
6 RepliesEdited by BC1 Edge: 2/12/2020 3:25:43 AMWhen 99% of their focus is on $$$ and Eververse these problems arise. I wouldn’t be surprised in the future if the game crashes but you can still log on buy Eververse gear but not play the game.

Game dev companies pay peanuts, no surprise they only get monkeys as developers.

8 Replies🤣🤣🤣 this POS game needs to go now !!!!!

2 RepliesThere is no excuse for the horrible QA Bungie exhibits... For months now.

11 RepliesStop being rude dude. They came out with an article explaining why the issue happened and how they are preventing it from happening again. Have some class...jesus.

Edited by ghostx78x: 2/13/2020 2:43:56 PMThese companies are just focused on making games that maximize player time and loyalty- this is the last thing they wanted. I feel bad for devs that work for shitty managers.

3 Replieswell I transferred from console and i never got my DLCs, its soo stupid
-
3 RepliesGuess this is the YOU HAD TO BE THERE moment🤣
-
2 RepliesI think they're just burned out. The game lacks passion and it reflects in the product. I think we all just need a break. I don't want this drama in D3. I can wait if the next game will be something we all could be proud of.
-
4 RepliesCool another thread of entitled ignorant children that keep saying the same thing, jumping on the band wagon of offensive "incompetent devs" bs. Please find a different game and forum, go be happy.
-
2 RepliesYep and you keep sinking loads of hours into the game ?! Also when you can deliver a a+ game with no flaws then I’m all ears 👍
-
4 RepliesIm thankful for the rollback...i regretted paying 3,250 bright dust for that football spike emote.the rollback gave me my brightdust back lol
-
3 RepliesI feel bad for bungie, it’s a good game overall. People who have real, high demanding jobs can empathize with them. Young people/people who never accomplish anything are so quick to criticize and don’t realize they’re not being realistic because they lack work-life experience. There are always going to be bumps in the road, bungie addressed them and offered a detailed explanation on how they’re going to fix things going forward. Most gaming companies just ignore problems and complaints but i can tell bungie does value their customers and feedback (as much as humanly possible) This forum is way too unrealistic and demanding.

4 RepliesIn before the lock. This is Fallout76 levels of incompetence lol, why are all these triple ayyyyyeeee companies so desperate to see who can do worse?
