As in the title. Just played a game and 2 players in a fireteam on my team were constantly jumping off the map. I reported them in game as sabotage. There is no option to send video of the event. I can't name and shame. Are there any procedures on this site where I can name them to Devs? Consequently I was sent abuse via PS network messenger and invited to a chat party of 14 players, so I could no doubt receive more abuse and the roasting I deserved for my transgression. As a natural coward I ignored said invite. Clearly, it isn't rocket science. They had managed to match against others in their chat party and were throwing matches.

2 RepliesYou reported them in game for sabotage, that's the correct thing to do. You ignored them when they invited you to party chat, that was the right thing to do. Now report them to Sony and block them all. That's all you need to do.
-
No point even asking. The in game report functions are there as placebos. The buttons you click go nowhere. I have never seen a post acknowledging that they work. Hackers and Aimbotters have been running riot for the past 12 months. Have you ever noticed there are multiple players who streamers play: hacking. They report the players who are clearly cheating and 2weeks later they are back playing he cheat?

Edited by an Ape with a d2 addiction: 2/11/2020 8:41:26 AMThere's a part in Code of Conduct agreement regarding pvp: (... reasons you can be restricted for) Online behaviors disruptive to the experiences of others, such as: Habitual unsportsmanlike conduct Habitual quitting or idle behavior in matchmade activities Habitually quitting from a Competitive Crucible or Gambit match will result in a 30-minute Crucible restriction So they have made disruptive behavior in competetive pvp possible to penalize. You can make the report through bungie.net's official page like others have instructed below and see what happens. Bungie has access to the match logs, they can check what went down. Just to make sure, this'll apply to survival only. In quickplay folks are free to do whatever. Ignore the trolls / downplayers. They're either trolling or didn't read the agreements they signed and either way there's nothing to be gained from the arguments. Not worth the time investment. Report and move on.

Consequently I was sent abuse via PS network messenger
If you haven't already - make sure you report this to Sony.
As a natural coward I ignored said invite
Nope - I would say you did the smart thing, especially if it was related to the abuse you said you received via PM.

If the chat party had 14 players, it’s obvious what they were doing.
-
I think there’s a report option called sabotage? Idk I’m tired af I might be wrong
-
Go to your game history on here, find the match and click on their names and it pops up a report option.
-
2 Replies14 players? were you doing comp or qp? Comp, I can understand a bit but even then that's kind of weird for 14 players to just be in a chat together unless they were trying to match against each other for win-trading or something. Either way, you already reported. Doubt anything will happen because of it, but if it gives you the psychological feeling of satisfaction knowing you did all you could to get people punished, then that's your reward.

It was not cowardly to not invite abuse into your life. In fact I think it takes a stronger man or woman to do so. Take it from someone who was a violent human being for most of their life, avoid the stupid if you can...

4 RepliesAs a natural coward?

4 RepliesThey might have been French! There's a history of capitulation 😬
-
8 RepliesSo now you think you have the right to tell other players how they should play the game. So next time you suck or have a bad match or testing out using a different weapon I should report you for sabotage. Seriously form a team if you want to play a certain way. If people are having fun jumping off the side, then why shouldn't they be able to do that.
-
1 Replywhat did you do that made them decide to take that kind of action?
-
Click on their name, report player, for sabotage. Click report.
-
Serious question Do you really not know how to report players?
-
This ain't overwatch.

-
You report them for Griefing in game or find the after match report on your profile and report them through that.

Being that time of the year. Fond memories of suicide doubles for that 320 sugary shell. Good times.

9 RepliesLets not forget that Cruc-A-Crap is nothing more that a hot nasty filthy stinking pile of dog shit and sorry but there are no rules against jumping off the ledge and If there were I would have been banned years ago
-
4 RepliesThere is absolutely nothing you can do. Cheap as it is they weren't cheating or doing anything ban or restriction worthy. Likely trying to finish a pvp quest that requires games played so they throw to get it done asap. You might want to consider forming a team so it doesnt happen again, though chances at that are pretty slim in of itself
-
You press the cathartic release button on their profile. Usually doesn't do anything but you may feel better.
-
Reporting them doesn’t do anything. Go on lfg instead of complaining about randoms.
-
Throwing a match in which the rest of the team is not in on it definitely counts as sabotage and should be reported as such. You can report abusive behaviour in text messages via your platforms report function, but at your discretion since 'abuse' could be pretty flip-floppy on what that means. Really that's all.
-
Report them. That is all you can do.
