Enemies won’t attack And won’t die

Hey anyone and everyone, I’m not sure if this is where I post about it but recently I’ve been noticing the game has been lagging a lot like enemies won’t attack and when I kill them they immediately come back. It’s not a problem with my internet cause I check it every time it happens and it’s always fine and the only fix that I’ve found to this problem is to go to orbit. If anyone else is experiencing this please let me know and if you’ve found a way to fix it, let me know as well. Hope y’all have a great day and I look forward to getting this resolved

  • That actually does sound like a connection issue. If you can follow the quoted info, it can help to rule out that possibility and move on from there. Well, you can say it's not your internet, but this is usually a symptom of inappropriate latency. First thing to do is clear your console cache(s), then try again. (power cycle the router while you are waiting). If it works better now, then you had an issue with cached information or the NAT may have been wonky due to a router issue. If still the same symptoms, you will need to do further testing... You need to run any testing from the platform you are playing on, if possible. Your router can assign data packets differently to each device so that is why testing from the source of the issue is important when possible. In addition, testing to your provider, or provider's node will not tell you much of anything. If you are playing on XB1, run the Network Test & Statistics report they have on the system and report back all the information, including bandwidth, latency, packet loss, NAT, etc. You may want to run it a few times back to back to see if there is an altering pattern. If you are playing on PSN, I think you can get some of the same testing done, but not all, if I remember correctly. If you are testing from a PC, the results may be different, but makes sure you do any bandwidth and latency testing to a server on the west coast - usually Seattle or something. You should also run a 30 attempt ping test to Bungie.net to see if it reveals anything. "Your connection" is everything between your console and the game service, so standard testing that your provider suggests, is not usually going to give you the real-world picture.
