Escalation Protocol
Played EP today! Thanks to the fireteam that stuck around the open world. Finally got my IKELOS SMG!
I was going over the weapons perks and whatnot.
And that got me thinking...
Kinda wish they had more weapons that dropped from completing EP and more frequently. There’s some pretty neat perks on weapons that are original to those weapons... I think 🤔
Would be cool to see more Warmind stuff with random rolls. And rolled perks original to EP.
I enjoyed the game type. Please leave a comment below if you like my suggestion. Would be kinda cool to see Mars populated again.

1 ReplyLucky you. I haven't been able to complete EP or Altar of Sorrows for weeks now. There's never enough players to get the job done.

They need to add more weapons to EP. I wouldn't mind if they added more waves with stronger enemies and better rewards. That would be sick

The EP armor and weapons were decent and got players grinding week after week. EP shotgun was the PvE meta for a while, the sniper before whisper was also a DPS go to, the SMG is my favourite SMG for PvP.

2 RepliesEP is still one of the best horde modes in the game. I still really enjoy hitting the trigger and ending up finishing 7 waves. I have everything there is to get from EP, but I still enjoy the activity to the point where no reward is needed. It's just fun.

1 ReplyI wish I could find more people on Mars who actually want to run it. Everytime I start it, theres me and 4 others on wave 1, by the time we get to Wave 5, I'm all alone.

EP is the best horde mode they have ever done. Every horde mode should be more like EP.

Same! On Friday I said to myself, I need the SMG, let's see if people are on Mars. When I landed, there were 6 of us just looking at each other and doing emotes. Someone started it and we got through it and redid the 6th and 7th rounds over about 5 times before heading our own ways. I got the SMG and was pumped! Just need the Sniper for the Wayfarer Seal. Thanks nameless Guardians!

8 RepliesLol it took me the better part of a couple months to finally finish the worldline catalyst, it was beyond a pain in the butt to deduce which bosses I’ve missed and how long till they are the weekly feature.

I got the smg first lol And it’s likely the weakest of all the ikelos guns I finally found some people grinding EP, so I joined them to get the shotgun/sniper... And then the smg dropped [u]again.[/u] I continued grinding to get the [b]ugly[/b] warlock outfit Just so I can put a red shader on it and relive Roi

4 RepliesI can get behind this. Strike/Event specific loot was a big deal in Destiny 1. Chasing a perfect Grasp of Malok or a Saladin’s Vigil. I wish they’d bring back factions to their former glory as well. Maybe even add a few more.

I usually jump in if there’s at least 3 other people helping. I’m still missing a gun or 2 but I have all the armor and my Worldline catalyst is finished. I still like to help if there’s a possibility of victory, usually, unless I’m under a time constraint to get something else done.

I have 30 ep bosses killed and all of them have had the shotgun availble and I have only gotten the SMG.. Imagine having wayfarer
