Are there any plans for rework or changes to useless exotics? (stand asides, Eternal Warrior, aeons, oathkeepers, vesper or radius, lumina)
They're just outclassed by everything.
I like how you give some love to less used skill trees but how about less used exotics?

2 RepliesI think Stronghold was the only good but not needed Titan exotic. Which is now going to be totally useless with the sword changes... The irony...it’s amazing.

Bungie doesn’t know balance

Another option I think would be good is to take these underwhelming Exotic, or Dollar Store Exotics as I like to call them, and turn them into an Exotic-lite. Basically you could equip them alongside another piece of exotic armor, or you could go with no Exotic armor and wear two at the same time.

I’ve been wanting more viable exotic armors since Destiny 1.

14 RepliesMask of the Quiet One: On respawn, all non-super abilities regenerate by 30%. Killing an enemy with an ability depletes 10% of their energy on respawn and siphons their energy for your own cooldowns. When all ability energy is full, Guardian resilience is maximized to 100 Stand Asides: Increases max sprint speed as shield charges, and increases charge speed of shield. Shield will continue to charge when damaged, but only to 100% capacity. Charging beyond capacity will require a few seconds of taking no damage (but you don't need to stop sprinting). Increased AOE damage and AOE damage range of Shoulder Charge attack. Getting a kill nets you 65% charge (50% for a non-lethal hit stays) Aeons: Energy granted to all allies in the Fireteam, regardless of proximity. All abilities recharge 10% faster when in a Fireteam with 2 or more Aeon Cult allies (3 Aeons needed total). Activating a super fully refills the abilities of all Aeon allies. If three Cult allies activate listed abilities in quick succession (Warlock grenade, Titan Barricade, Hunter Dodge), all Cult allies enter a trance where they deal 20% more damage and receive 20% less damage (PvE only) Oathkeepers: Reduces overall bow draw speed slightly for all bows. Holding a fully-drawn bow grants a small amount of damage resistance. Precision kills with fully-drawn arrows grant bonus super energy Vesper of Radius: Double the damage and range of the Rift explosion. Rift explosions now cause different effects based on element (Arc chains electricity and stacks with Arc Web, Solar burns and weakens, activating Benevolent Dawn, Void suppresses and activates Dark Matter). Kinetic weapons fired from a Rift gain elemental damage based on the equipped subclass. Lumina: Noble Rounds begin seeking Lumina on kill from any distance and only disappear on collection or Guardian death. Hip-fired shots when not aiming at an ally will not fire Noble Rounds. Holding 'reload' will consume 2 shots in exchange for healing and empowering the user.

1 ReplyBungie has done its fair share of nerfing and buffing. I think they should definitely look into underused exotics. Shit, i know they look into overused ones so there’s no excuse.

1 ReplyLumina is good in with a build composition that is meant to help your team. For instance a build you would want to use with Lumina is something like this: Middle Tree Dawnblade, Sanguine Alchemy, Empowering Rift, Tatara Gaze with Quickdraw and Kill Clip. You would want to use your empowering rift with Sanguine Alchemy to track your opponents and use your Tatara Gaze to body shot players that are lower than 6 resilience(which most are). However in the rare case that your opponents do have 6 or more resilience after the empowered body shot from Tatara Gaze, you clean up with Lumina to get a Noble Round and since Noble Rounds activate Divine Protection on Middle Tree Dawnblade you’ll have your melee, Grenade and most importantly your rift back almost immediately. That’s just a basic run down of how to use this build, if you want to have a more in depth build and better explanation, I recommend checking out a video by Cammycakes. Here’s the link to that: https://youtu.be/SWRqMVWs5Gs

Anteaus Wards could use a look at.

2 RepliesI’ve wanted vesper to reduce/negate knockback while in rifts, could allow for new strategies with bosses
-
1 ReplyHave you seen how bad karnstein armlets are? What about the minuscule amount of grenade regen veritys brow gives you? And honestly vesper of radius should not require an exotic. That should be either built in to the rift or be an armor mod
-
2 Repliesoathkeepers + le monarque is pretty good. I'd rather play against fusion rifles than that combo
-
Tbh before they reworked Mask of the Quiet one twice, it was pretty good
-
1 ReplyMk 44 's are really good though. Free overshield for running. Aeons are very good even if 1 person uses them after the buff.
-
1 ReplyYou should be able to buff yourself with lumina.
-
Stand asides are fine really

Season of the Worthy should have a great event that celebrates Banshee and his workshop changing our exotic armors. That way Bungie would have more than enough reason to buff these Bargain Bin items. Give us some wayward ornaments as well.

4 RepliesMask of the Quiet One is in need of a buff but as of right now it is under rated. Its good but should be better is basically what I am saying. Which is disappointing because it looks SMEXY AF!
-
2 RepliesMask of the quiet one definitely need a total rework. Oathkeeper can be useful, like other said, with Le Monarque it's fun. Severance Enclosure, the " new " exotic is one of the worst that ever existed. It need a big buff or a total rework. Sleeper Simulant need a buff. The weird scout rifle cabal exotic ( don't know the name in english) need a total rework. And there are so many other...

Just naming a few at the top of my head. Don't have the time or patience for listing them all. Eternal Warrior should generate overshields on any super multikills, and extend beyond just Fists of Havoc. Ashen Wake should allow Titans to resummon their throwing hammer if it is within their line of sight. Improved fusions suck. Stag should either immediately grant health upon deploying a rift, or increase the heal rate, while critically injured. Dying should drop a green rift that weakens/hurt enemies that walk through it (though it should last shorter than a standard rift). Mask of the Quiet One's Dreaded Visage should stack based on how much damage you take. Taking up to a third of your health boosts it by one, a third to 2 thirds adds x2, and critically injured to near death adds x3. Could argue making the heal on kills stack based on health too, but that might be a bit much. Eye of Another World gains increased ability regen upon killing highlighted targets (adjusted for PvE and PvP respectively).

I’m waiting for someone to say “every exotic is useful under the right conditions”
