So I had this idea today. What if like exotic weapons, exotic armors had a unique perk you could only unlock by master working the piece? Here are a few examples I came up with for concept of idea.
ACD/0 feedback fence: Hit them Harder: Melee kills restore melee energy. Melee ability kills release an explosion based on your currently equipped sub-class?
Arc: Chains deadly lightening
Solar: Creates Sun spots on kills
Void: Attaches Void detenators
Eternal Warrior: Reincarnation: Restore a random portion of super energy when killed in your super.
Aoen Swift, Safe, ext: United we stand: Each Guardian gains +1 teir to Strength, Mobility, and Recovery for each other player also equipped with an Aeon exotic or Rat king.
Sealed Ahamkara Graps: Quicker then Bullets: Melee ability kills reloads all currently equipped weapons.
Foe Tracers: No where to Hide: Grands True sight on any target you damage. A portion of kentic weapon damage bypasses elemental shields.
The Stag: Gifts from the Grave: Rifts created upon death are also Empowering Rifts. If the bottom tree arc subclass is equipped also grants an Arc Soul as well.
Ashen Wake: Fusion Core Reactor: Fusion grenades final blows chain explosions. ( Like Sunshot)
Crest of Alpha Lupi: The Last Stand: Barriers reflect projectiles back at target. The lower your health when activated the more projectiles can be reflected.
These are just a few examples I came up with to give proof of concept and inspire a conversation on the topic. I feel like some old Yq exotic armors could really use some sort of an update to give them new use in both PvE and PvP and incentives players to masterwork their armors more.

Bungie should've never brought back these exotic gauntlets when there's already a vanilla destiny2 exotic that does a better job than these ones that got reintroduced in Warnind (bungo 😂 what are you smoking)

4 Replies*snicker* One eyed mask catalyst.

Been suggested before, fell on deaf ears

I’ve thought of this kind of idea since exotic masterworks were introduced. I REALLY hope it becomes reality.

Edited by Perfectionado: 2/10/2020 1:41:41 AMYo the Aeon swift was enough to get my vote. If you have a bunch of 'neutral-game' strong players, extra stats and maybe a little more cool down would be great. Still want the option to remove my super for a neutral game buff of some kind. DO NOT turn foetracer into an OEM alternative. Point blank reflect a wardiff with a barrier. that would be big funny.

1 ReplyThese are actually pretty good. Minor tweaks could be made but nothing sounded crazy broken.

1 Replyno we do not need this at all

Yup. Bumpers.

I still dont understand why people come on here and make suggestions like that.... aint never gonna happen.
-
And even then they will make us go into shitty strikes that no one wants to do to get them

3 RepliesIf they were balanced properly and the cost of ascendants were adjusted, sure.

1 ReplyEdited by xbroggiex: 2/8/2020 9:59:48 PMSounds good. Bungie: "bUt mAkInG CoNtEnT iS HaRd!!!!!!!"

2 RepliesEdited by Pyro 509: 2/9/2020 12:48:50 AMI would rather have catalysts for them that dropped from activities and needed to be grinded out than spend 3 ascendant shards, that’s for damn sure
-
1 ReplyAgreed but i feel like thats what the feedbacks should do in general😅
-
3 RepliesDo you mean like Exotic catalyst but for armor? Genuinely staggered that Bungie haven't already done this.
-
2 RepliesI think we all could get behind that.

1 ReplyHey! This is a bungle-made game! There’s no place for your logical thinking here.
