Is Luna's Howl worth going for?
Recently I got Thorn and the last step was just straight hell to go through so should I try and get Luna or any other pinnacle weapons.

Luna's, even in the hands of a mediocre PvP player like me is really good. It's recoil makes it a head shot machine. Very much worth grinding IMO.

How much pvp can you stomach, and what platform do you play on? If you dislike pvp and don’t play much pvp, you’re not going to get much benefit from Luna’s Howl. Thorn in pc is just as accurate and just as deadly. If you don’t mind pvp, and play mostly on console, it’ll probably be worth it. Even post-nerf, Luna’s Howl is still one of the fastest killing weapons in the game and is one of the most accurate hand cannons. If you do decide to go for it, watch some videos on how to play comp/Survival and use the Freelance playlist if you aren’t running with a team. Survival is very different than 6s, and very punishing if you don’t understand and respect that strategic difference.

Honestly Luna’s is only good if you’re on console. I still prefer Malfeasance for the absolutely nonexistent recoil

Depends on your level of tolerance, if you can handle being T-bagged for no reason, can handle the fact that most players use whatever the most op, one hit kill weapons are. The terrible lag, that's so bad, you question if the player that last killed you is cheating, because you just died from a melee, even though he was 30 foot away, then go for it. Not hating on any particular class or weapon, just sharing my experience getting Luna

But on console it’s still really good if ur a HC guy . Plus once u get it then u can attempt to get Not Forgotten which is just a better version of Luna’s with much more range and it’s still a really good HC even tho it was nerfed to hell. I still use my NF everyday in crucible, it’s nowhere near the monster it once was but it’s still a great option

I’d say it is. A good roll Spare Rations or Trust will out gun it. But it’s definitely a solid Crucible weapon for short-med range. Especially good if you don’t have the patience to grind out god rolls for Spare Rations or Trust.

3 RepliesYes 100%. But not just for Lunas. The journey will make you a much better PVP player. You’ll learn a lot about patience, positioning and awareness. You’ll get frustrated but once you’ve got it you’ll understand.

Not really. Spare rations or waking vigil is where its at. If you're on console, get slideshot... that will eliminate any recoil. I'm personally hunting for a waking vigil with opening shot and slideshot. I got one with zen moment and slideshot and I prefer it over my NF

2 RepliesLuna is not as good as Trust. But, it depends on how you play and the roll on the weapon. I got it on my main account but on my kid’s account, that is mine too, I never even thought about wasting a second for certain weapons.
