EDZ Giant.... Vex?
Been seeing whats in the screenshot for awhile now and keep wondering just what it is?
Giant, detailess creature just looming in the distance but no way to get too it.
Any ideas?

It's an effect from underneath the Lake of Shadows boss room. Underneath the dam. When people first noticed it after the release of Destiny 2, they labeled it an Easteregg as it looks just like Crota, Son of Oryx.

That's not a vex, that might be a giant taken or hive knight.

Are those taken crystals still there in the Lake of Shadows area?

Probably some lake effect, although it would be cool if it was some sort of new enemy, and this is a hint...

Any ideas?[/quote] Not a vex just the taken effect for lake of shadows. It's like when people thought ghosts were travelling in front of jump ships because the graphic at the centre of the ship animation looked vaguely ghost like. You're programmed to find patterns, which is why we see shapes in the clouds and in wallpaper and wood knots and see pictures of religious symbols on toast.

I might be wrong, but I think it's to do with the lake of shadows strike. If you come from winding cove where you see that image, back to the bridge at outskirts that heads to Niobe Labs, look towards the dam on the left hand side and you'll see the Taken cloud inside the exposed area.

I think this just looks like a large human-ish figure. Might have something to do with the EDZ missions we had to do to get our Light back. Looks like the Shard's energy.
