Crucible comp...2v3 matches should be forfeited automatically?!?
twice today i was matched as a 2v3. Something has to be done about this. If theres a 2v3 the match should be forfeited for all players dont you think?!? Or one player removed from match?!?! as to make it a 2v2... or pause match until matchmaking finds a 3rd player so that it is a fair 3v3!!!!

I too am suffering from Anteater codes when entering Competitive (to which I am penalized) and from dropping players. I've worked hard to get to Legend and keep getting penalized for items out of my control. I want some Glory points added back.

1 ReplyOr multiply win rewards x2 for one man down and x3 for solo. Inversely reduce the loss penalty by 50% for one man down and 100% for solo.

3 RepliesHad some real Chad's the other day in comp. Loaded in as 2v3. Second the other guy died once he up and left. The other team......was chill for once. Just emotes and such. They even gave me the win. Pvp miracles do exist.

5 RepliesI had a weird one today. Started 3v3 After the first round there was a loooong wait time. Second round started 2v2. Third round started and now we were down 2v3 Stayed like this until the end of the game.

Its annoying and should never happen. That said, I've won a couple of those (lost more), but it's entirely possible to pull out a win. Just ain't a fun way to spend 20 minutes

Idk. Its easier to win a 2v3 because your teammates wont just feed kills. But then again, your teammates dont seem to know what they're doing and one might not want to carry 2 people. Matches should never start 2v3 tho

Not automatically but the option to forfeit. I had a team quit in me this season after the team steam rollered ya the first round. Round two they all tea bagged me after I lost a one vs three. I decided I was going to snipe and make them grind every kill and forced two rounds out of them. It was good till round the supers came. I killed one out of his super (to win the round) but got wrecked next round!

3 RepliesI agree!!! I'm tired of getting punished because someone left the match. It feels like bungie doesn't care. This problem is so old now. It should be a simple fix. No point loss for the team with 2 players. The other team can still have a chance to earn their points if (when) they win. Done. No hard feelings. No frustrating loses.

The problem is when they start that way. If match making gets jacked up the match should not start and you go back to orbit and start match making again. Starting a 2v3 sucks.

What? No. I’ve won quite a few times in 2v3 situations. In some cases I’d prefer that over having some blueberry with 0.2kda.

It’s lame when people leave but would be worse to join a game as the replacement. You would join comp games with a team that’s loosing so getting a new player won’t work. I have won plenty of 2v3 games. Survival is the best game mode to be down a player and still win. I get why your upset but it’s fine the way it is. Sorry

Had a 3v2 match that turned 3v1 in the last two rounds, and that insane guy still nearly won. Life advantage is on your side in such cases.

3 RepliesI just had 2 quit immediately after dying in Control then just got destroyed by OHK cheese. Then I noticed AFK players so I ended up leaving too. People that want to have gunfights should realize D2 isn’t the game for that. Bungie should be forced to change their name because the dog shit PvP developers they have now are an embarrassment to those who created Halo under the real Bungie team.

They should just return everybody back to orbit and re-start matchmaking if the game starts 2v3 for whatever reason, and also make it so that it has no effect on your winstreak / score, although this should maybe only be applied to Freelance since people would have a guy on their team to drop out on purpose when they match a team that they think they cannot beat.

1 ReplyI've won and had some great 2v3 battles. Prolly some of the most fun I had in comp. The only real disadvantage is the supers.

I think a vote system at the beginning of the match would be good.

Overwatch be like: after 15 min of finding comp match A player has left your team. The match will end in 15 seconds. Leaving now will result in a loss. This match will not count towards your rank.
