Just look at how Unstoppable Arrows make some bows viable again (for bow users anyway), or Solar Plexus makes Weighted Knives more forgiving.

1 ReplyThe mods and the power both, I shouldn't be at a disadvantage in IB because some guy has been farming bounties all season and I'm just wanting to play to get the stupid quest out the way. If you are under leveled the power level should count up to the cap but no one goes further

I don’t expect it to ever be good, which is why I only play it when something I want requires me to. I just don’t find it fun. I think Bungie is delusional as to how it functions within the game as a whole, how it is played per the way the game imposes it as well as how and why most people play their game in general. It’s functionally broken.

5 RepliesPvp in general is covered in thick gooey cheese. Literally every aspect of this game is cheese. Supers, specials, one shot abilities somehow existing now. I recently returned to destiny after a year away and played a ton of pvp for some pinnacles and I literally had one night where I was counting the primary duels on one hand. All people want is a easy route to kills and destiny offers that in bulk. Arrtifact being the lesser of these evils honestly. It’s truly sad because bungie tried for a balanced community requested primary meta when d2 launches and everyone hated it even tho it was almost exactly what people thought they wanted. Best way to enjoy crucible now is simple, you either don’t or you have a large glass of whiskey next to you as you force yourself in there for one reason or another

1 ReplyEdited by DownyKitten: 2/4/2020 9:58:54 PMSo is handheld supernova, flaming refrigerator sized knives, aoe ohk shoulder charges, an entire team with heavy ammo followed by the same team all popping off supers until the end of the game, or all PvE content so easy you could run it backwards using only melees. It wouldnt be Destiny if there was any semblance of fairness or skill required.

Naw, better and actually best solution to fix all of destiny’s problems is to just get rid of pvp all together.

3 RepliesLet's also remove PVE weapons that require too much of a grind since most players cannot get them. Let's also remove mods that increase your stats so we don't have guardians get their supers too early. Let's also remove power weapons because they are too easy to use. Let's also remove special weapons because shotgun=bad. Let's remove all abilities so PVP is fair and balanced. Everyone only gets to use Khvostov. I really hope Bungie reads this, we need balance in the Crucible!
