there's only 2 dungeons so why ST got left behind like an old blanket. just saying. also last wish
edit: pinnacle gear like how you get from NH, PoH & GoS every week

It would be nice if bungie could at least add powerful gear (perhaps tier 2 or 3) to the shattered throne, zero hour and the Wisper. I love to do those activities, but two blue engrams and some glimmer is definitely not a reward for guiding friends through those dungeons, although it's fun. Please bungie *beg beg beg* ^.^

I think they should just rotate the raids and dungeons on a weekly basis as to which gives you pinnacle gear.
-
1 ReplyAgreed. I will never understand what the people have against old content. That game is losing some much content cause they do not update the older content with loot and difficulty levels.
-
2 RepliesOld content doesn’t deserve pinnacle rewards
-
hell no its old content
-
15 RepliesShattered throne, menagerie, EP, reckoning and forges aren't relevant anymore, they're not pinnacle events. They're old dlc content.

Edited by FL00FING AB0UT: 2/6/2020 5:03:06 AMYeah, I don’t know why it’s so controversial for raids to drop pinnacle gear. They are still raids that require actually clearing it. Just because it is “current” doesn’t mean anything. You’re really gonna tell me Crown or Dûl Incaru are easier now with the auto reload nerf? 🙄 It’s the activity that defines the reward, not the time. By that same token, following the “current” logic only the NEW nightfalls should give rewards because old strikes have “been out.”

2 RepliesIt's over a year old u bot
edit: pinnacle gear like how you get from NH, PoH & GoS every week
So the relevant content 🤔 each content has relevant drops and as new content comes out they get rid of some... doesjt seem like a hard concept...

4 RepliesThey need to add a lot more sources of Pinnacle gear in my opinion. The grind for Pinnacle drops is rendered almost pointless by the seasonal level cap increase. Can't quite remember but i was about 955 or 956 at end of season eight. Season nine starts and I'm 960 in a day. Start grinding the same small number of Pinnacle drop activities again only to have the cap increased to 970 a few weeks later. No thanks. If the Pinnacle drop activities are something you enjoy then that's fine but being forced into a narrow group of activities, relying on RNG to be kind, for rewards that are mostly disappointing pretty much sums up the entire game up at the moment.

11 RepliesIsnt it 750 content? You want pinnacle gear from Lost sectors and patrols too? Pinnacles are on endgame content that is new and bungie wants players playing. They dont necessarily need people to play Shattered Throne, its already about 15 months old.
-
They need to make pinnacle reward system better like have pinnacle reward for every slot available to all of us at every week. For example completing the 100k legend run , will always give out helmet pinnacle reward and they can switch things up at every week because not all of us can play raid everyday . I’m deaf and I have hard time finding group to run the gos raid and if they don’t switch it up then I probably will be stuck at same power level for while

3 RepliesStill confused as to why the dungeons don't have unique drops, instead of reskins. Imagine earning an armor set that looked like King's Fall, but with a Scarlet Keep vibe. Or, just plain ol' D1 Taken armor from Shattered Throne, for fun. Instead, much like Iron Banner, Crucible, and the Shadowkeep strikes (as well as Broodhold) nothing new is added to make you want to partake.

5 RepliesPinnacle gear just needs to rotate between each dungeon and raid each week. Heroic Menagerie and Heroic Sundial can rotate. They could even add Zero Hour and Whisper to the pool with ST and POH. Oh my God this sounds awesome as I type it lol
-
5 RepliesI would also add that beating the Shattered Throne solo's reward should now be the Taken effect permanently unlocked on the gear. That would really spice it up.
-
1 ReplyPinnacle gear should be rotating. One featured dungeon, one featured raid per week. It's not hard.
-
A damn shame this even needs to be asked for. All end game activities should be worth playing!!!
-
If they do that then older raids rewards should be pinnacle as well.
-
And it better be masterworked. I don't care about pinnacle rewards, but another source for prisms would be more than welcome.

1 ReplyEdited by mikeyrox1234: 2/4/2020 1:58:45 PMRemove the whole Light Level system and move over to a mid max system. What determines your ability to do an activity should be your characters set up and your capability of understanding the activity, not some pointless number that ultimately hurts the replay ability of the game. With a Light Level system it restricts activities, new and old, to a certain amount of rewards per week and makes older content useless because if they were to give older content pinnacle/powerful drops that means that it would be even easier to reach the max Light Level. Unless they plan on increasing the Light Level by 100-200 each season or update the old content should and would never drop pinnacle/powerful stuff because it would make leveling and getting to max level way too easy. Then once you reach max Light Level whats the point? Waiting until the next week for the content to drop? The artifact Light Level was Bungie’s answer to the hardcore players that wanted something more after reaching max Light Level... but reaching 1000 or even 1008, which I saw last night in Gambit, means LITERALLY NOTHING if 1. There is not difficult content to use it in and 2. You are so above the recommended Light Level/ delta that it doesn’t even matter. If they were to actually go full MMO RPG when it comes to build making people may actually want to stay. Believe it or not but people actually like make builds and in Destiny builds are super easy to make and ultimately do not even matter when it comes to pretty much any activity. You can go into any activity with no mods, all stats at 0 and still easily get it done. As long as you have the best Subclass per your class, Izagnamis Burden and 2 other weapons, and a buff effect you can pretty much do every activity with ease. Our stats do not matter and they have never mattered... which honestly is disappointing because our stats are what defines what kind of play style we prefer to play. The only thing that matters is buffs, debuffs, and DPS. I know this game can be great, I have always believed that but its held back by Bungie not wanting or straight up not being able to go full MMO RPG. Also being held back by the people that feel like they should be handed everything in this game. That the game needs to watered down so much that its not even a happy medium anymore. This game is not casual or hardcore... its somehow in between and its obviously NOT working. Bungie has to pick a side to “favor” but not completely ignore the other side. In my opinion where D1 left off... as in the balance between casual and hardcore is where we need to be, although end game activities could be make a little more difficult. Also remember... if you are not able to or willing to then you do not get the reward! If you are not able to put in the time, whether its due to personal reasons or just don’t want to, then you do not get the reward. Thats like me going into a new COD and assuming I deserve the diamond camo because I bought the game. Buying the game doesn’t entitle you to everything the game offers, buying the game entitles you to the challenge and time to earn the rewards. In the end though it does not matter. Bungie does not have the resources or the engine capabilities or the assets(anymore) to do what is said above. Don’t know if its just me but it feels like they are just barely scraping by when it comes to content now. Which is disappointing because I truly do love this game/series and I plan on staying with it until the day they stop making content for it but I want the game to be the very best it can until that day comes... Anyway theres my rant😅.

Yes please! Give us a pinnacle piece of lore with a matching emblem
-
Would be better if they gave it it's own set of gear, even if it was just like a set of takeny gear from D1. Pit of Heresy could be given the old Crota's End set but with Shadowkeep type theming
-
or at least a full masterworked drop armor piece just like the Pit.
-
God yes

Edited by Fibby: 2/3/2020 7:14:15 PMOr just make it so that it switches every other week from Shattered Throne to Pit of Herecy. Also, having a weekly featured raid (with all the raids and lairs in rotation) that drops pinnacles would be nice instead of just having GoS. That way people who haven’t raided that much in a certain era of the game would have better chances of finding groups to do them with, and it wouldn’t be so boring to raid 3x every week for those that are active. I really hope we get some changes to the way the pinnacles are now, if we still only have PoH, GoS, and Nightmare Hunts as the weekly options for a third season in a row many people won’t bother to play at all because it is the same shit week and after week.

5 RepliesBungie isn’t adding pinnacle loot to free content. Get real.
