Here's an interesting theory...
Could all the constant Eververse ornaments and cosmetics be in fact the cause to all these issues that are occurring in Destiny 2?
I think it's a good possibility.
Now, I also speak in part from experience from watching this happen in another game.
Fallout 76.
That game was extremely unstable when it first came out, and crashed, several times.
Over the course of 6 months it seemed to get a lot more stable after a crap ton of patches.
Then, Bethesda kept having update after update, mostly to add stuff to the Atom Shop, which in turn caused more and more instability to the game once again.
It looks like (to me anyway), the same thing's occurring here in Destiny 2.
Longer load times, instability issues, lag, you name it.
Possible confliction issues?
I think Bungie needs to read this post and stop with the Eververse items until the stability issues and other things are addressed, because it's breaking the game.
What does everyone else think?
Be civil.
Post your thoughts.
Yes, even if your theory is about aliens or rabbid squirrels.

1 Reply90gb game, 40 go if it is just eververse items.

1 ReplyHonestly, its just a -blam!-ing insult to the playerbase that Bungie peddles crap content that has an expiry date while filling the dumb store with more items which most of the art team works on.

8 RepliesFallout 76s issues stem from a myriad of bethesda specific things. In short, bethesda took the same, aged, single player engine they've been using since fallout 3, and tried to push it into the wrong shaped hole, and fallout 76 came out of the other side. The games' glitches and bugs have nothing to do with the atom shop, but the injection of new, bug ridden items into a bug filled game. Destiny is much more competently built, and most of the bugs that disable weapons/armor are typically oversights on how their internal systems work, like with telestos bolts being counted as enemies, probably so you, as the player who shot them, can fire at them for effect.

1 ReplyI guess this could make sense? More stuff to process and load. And destiny 2 is already a massive game without eververse.
