So I just downloaded Destiny 2 today. When I was on the screen for adjusting settings I can see only white and the few colored boxes associated with one of the games settings. When hovering over the buttons with my mouse I can see them and I clicked on adjust brightness. But clicking on the arrows to adjust the slider brightness did nothing. When adjusting the black slider again its stuck on maximum setting and clicking on arrows of the slider does nothing. When trying to see what I could do I accidentally clicked OK when I couldn't even see the button and now I'm on the class selection screen. I selected Warlock and character creation is literally impossible since the game is too bright. The game is unplayable and I don't know how to fix it. So if someone could help me that would be great.

1 ReplyHi there. This may be a result of HDR being turned on or some other monitor setting. Try resolving this issue by turning these settings off or down, then going into your character inventory settings menu and readjusting your brightness settings. You may want to verify the integrity of your game files in the Steam app to see if that helps with your issue. If that doesn't help, in your Games library, right-click Destiny 2 and go to Properties. Click Local Files then Browse Local Files to open your Destiny 2 directory. Remove all files in this folder EXCEPT "Packages." Then verify the integrity of Destiny 2 game files again.
