Literally, not even joking. Every game I play it's 90% hunters. I can't wait to see what Bungie's got up their sleeve for next season.
Edit: literally out of control with hunters. And bungie thought it was a good idea to give them tracking 1 hit kill throwing knives.

2023 and hunters are still an issue in crucible.

4 RepliesYou know titans and warlocks can do the Insta weapon swap glitch while in jumping animation. Hunters can’t do that. We have to rely on quick draw weapons in mid air.

Hunter = easy mode...

...plus shotguns and HCs....don’t forget.

5 RepliesEdited by dadomike: 2/2/2020 12:58:47 PMTitan main, the only thing I would like to have from hunters is their dodge. Every class can dodge apart from titans, we had to equip an exotic to do that in D1, it got nerfed, and finally taken away in D2...bring back twilight garrison. So, I'm good with their throwing knives, they don't have tracking, but the hit box is huge...but handheld supernova and shoulder charge are just as deadly.

Edited by Lord_Shar: 2/5/2020 6:57:45 PMAs pointed out by @CamJustKilledU below, hunters have capes and cloaks. Capes / Cloaks > Skirts + Belts combined. >:D

2 RepliesEdited by Judge: 2/4/2020 12:53:35 AMDo you hear that? That's the wind behind a Titans shoulder charge, sprint away young hunter, around a corner. Get that knife ready, a storm is coming. I love picking off Titans like that 😁 something that I find crutchy about warlocks is the healing rift. *Emotional support rifts* Titans 😒 stretchy a$$ mfers always hiding behind those walls. If you haven't figured it out yet, imma hunter main. You're welcome 😊😘

4 RepliesHunters are just more talented?
-
Not really. I am sick of Titan Supers and Warlocks Handheld Novas.
-
As a hunter, yeah, we didn't need the knives
-
2 RepliesI'd still rather fight Hunters instead of Contraverse Warlocks.

BUMP THIS #dadsplayhunters #lowskillrequired

1 ReplyI PvP every class. I suppose 33.3% of the time I'm part of the problem.

Edited by Radahn: 2/5/2020 10:47:27 AMAre u playing on console? If yes... Hunters have been "must play" at high mmr since 2014. Its been a fundemental problem in the game. Forget about all abillities. At high paced, high mmr matches. The Hunter jump alone + console FoV shits on anything else. Its the only class that can dissapear from your screen with a mere 2 button presses. Thats just the way it works. The hunter jumm is simply superiour, now add their dodge to it in D2. Being able to dodge straight into cover after shooting/ rushing with a shotgun....only 1 class can do this. All these gimmicky things such as supernova/one eyed / shoulderbash dont matter at hugh paced, shotgun, close door fights were hunters simply reign supreme.

4 RepliesHi, my name's chunk n I'm a hunter! Seriously, I'll trade that slow as fu one hit winding up throwing knife, the solar crap grenades and my wurmhusk for your shoulder charge, one eyed mask and double pulse grenades any day. You can keep your mobility and wall thou, I like dodge n hunter jump just how it is.
-
They are easy mode that's why.

2 RepliesJust gives me more snowflakes to shoulder charge.

1 ReplyClan Leader is making me use Hunter only, bruh. 😰

17 RepliesEdited by --KNIGHT--: 2/4/2020 7:26:37 PMDodge should not cancel damage from grenade tracking or reduce aim assist at all. Edited*

just make it so aiming at someone dodging doesn't remove the aim assist

3 RepliesEdited by Lord_Shar: 2/4/2020 10:00:48 PMHunters have a low skill floor but high skill ceiling at the same time -- They have very forgiving survival skills and excellent burst damage rolled into a single package. Hunters were still very popular before weighted knife became a one-shot-kill, so I don't know why high hunter popularity would come as a surprise to anyone. If you want to blame anyone for hunter popularity, you can blame the D2 player base as a whole. EDIT: Oh, Hunters also get CAPES / CLOAKS. These are visually OP, hence hunters win. TY @CamJustKilledU for pointing this out.

1 ReplyEdited by MagikSkull: 2/4/2020 12:44:18 PMI main a warlock but hunters “feel” the best in PVP, at least to me. They’re faster, and just way more agile than the other two classes. Also, Dodge is a thing. It is annoying sometimes, but I understand why people use them.

3 RepliesI play hunter for the same reason I play Amazon, Ranger, Demon Hunter, Rogue, Assassin, Thief, etc. I simply find the fighter and caster archetypes boring, and I can't cope with the complexities of support and summoner types. To me, it's always been about being agile, stealthy, disruptive, and risky. The Rogue archetype has never been about power, that's for Warriors (melee) and Casters (range.) For us, it's always been about skill and high-risk, high-reward plays. Miss your crits, interrupts, evades etc. and you're toast. Get them right and you're ahead. It's much less consistent than hulk smashing or throwing fireballs, worse when you miss and better when you pull it off. When balanced right, it's the same on average, but in the hands of a good player, it can look OP. I still remember a random Ranger/Mesmer carrying our PUG through most of the Guild Wars campaign. He was an absolute demigod! I'm not even average in PvP but SBMM takes care of the likes of me. When my game is on, I hit my shots, use my abilities right, time my super and actually wipe with it, I have a blast with 25+ elims, 2.5+ KDA. When I suck or simply get outplayed, I struggle to get half that. I get killed by all classes, but hunters tend to kill me with primaries or snipers, which I'm perfectly fine with, whereas titans rely more on shoulder charge and shotguns, and warlocks hold onto their HHSN. I also very rarely get killed by hunter grenades, whereas the other two classes manage to get me (again, lower ranks PvP so that happens.) On PC, most of the advantages we have are negated by the higher FOV, smoother FPS and better control with MNK. Mobility is a pretty useless stat in PvP, on PC. You get higher strafe speed... which would matter if most kills weren't by specials or OHK abilities. You get higher jump, but that only makes you a toothless airborne target for longer. We don't have AA on PC and dodge doesn't do much as you still get mapped mid-dodge by a sniper or Erentil. Invisibility would be useful if you were, in fact, invisible and didn't stand out like a sore thumb, plus ping the radar when you sprint or double-jump. On console, I understand how you could have issues with low FOV, FPS and controls. That's a console problem though, not a class one. If they dumb down hunters even further for the sake of console, they would pretty much kill off the class on PC. We're already half-useless in PvE and our team buffs are laughable compared to bubble or well. Nerf PvP and they might as well delete the class.

1 ReplyI love that it's mostly hunters. Playing on my dawn blade warlock it's so easy cause they don't expect you to be up higher then them haha

Well, bungie thought it was a good idea to give all the classes 1 hit kill abilities that are available almost infinitely. Look where we're at now. All of the 1 hit abilities need to be toned down or adjusted, don't act like it's just a hunter problem, and tbh, I still dont see a whole lot of gunslinger hunters anyway. Also, your statement is literally incorrect.
