Nova warp movement speed

I understand that nova warp needed a nerf back in forsaken, that’s why it doesn’t last as long and there is hardly any damage resistance. But when a player’s base movement speed can outrun a super’s movement speed, it kinda pathetic. Every other super doesn’t have this problem, just this one.

  • Hit your burst glide at the same time you blink forward in super. Time it right and you will fly and become the new face of fear as long as you are good at killing with the super

      • What I don't get is why Nova Warp can't 1 bang supers with the max charge. Except for golden gun, but if you let Nova Warp get that close to you, why even bother using golden gun? Meanwhile you can Chuck a hammer or a shield or a sissy sword across map and 1 bang Nova Warp :/ You can brush past me with a pole or a baby knife and 1 bang Nova Warp :/ Thing is basically just an over stylised Add clearer and the only thing Super about it is Hand held. Heck, you might as well be Sunsinger 2.0 and main contraverse holds because that super is poo unless you're fighting a bunch of .3kd blueberries who can't shoot straight.

        • Arc strider is easily our ran by all classes... same with spectral blades if the guy knows how to move and rotate. Nova warp doesn’t need any buff until hand held gets addressed. You literally get a super for a grenade.

          • That is why it is called nova WARP!!!! You are supposed to teleport to your opponent and then blow up. It is not called novafloat.

            • Yup, charging the attack already stops us from blinking, there is no reason why we move slower on top of that. Bungie should either increase the armor rating again of they seriously want is to move slow or simply leave armor how it is now but give us the mobility we desperately need.

            • I agree, Warp is either deadly or f@cking useless however, using blink with Warp speeds up movement considerably 👍🏻 I would like the time it takes for activation and to get off your first warp explosion looked at because it takes an age lol

            • Not to mention a fully charged nova blast won’t take out another super OHK. And given the time it takes to charge and how slow you move when it is charged that’s ridiculous. You’re dead meat if you try to go up against other supers. It’s situationally good at best.

              I think there should be a buff to either the base movement speed or "Dark Blink" used mid-Super(possibly even both; DB should either use less energy, go further, or have a shorter cooldown). And then buff the radius of the uncharged blast, because it's not reliable at all to use on single targets. Something needs to be buffed about the Super, because it's the only one people like myself will actively run towards irregardless of how much health it has. It's barely a threat, if even that. Though I think if the Super's ever made competitive, HHSN or Contraverse would probably get toned down, since those are the main reasons the subclass is ever used.

            • It needs something: more energy efficiency, faster hovering, better charging or higher blast damage. Trying to justify how mediocre this super is by saying Handheld Supernova is the best part of this subclass? Fine, its good. That shouldn't stop Bungie from allowing Nova Warp to be better than what it is currently. It is, yet again, a decision that keeps Warlocks from being decent. It especially sucks in PvE.

            • Handheld supernova is a 2nd special weapon...that’s the sacrifice. Pop the super around several enemies when they not expecting it
