14 RepliesYour account has been restricted from matchmaking against other players for 2 months, beginning Jan 29th, due to extremely poor connection stability that was negatively impacting other players' experience. Specifically, we have repeatedly detected extremely high packet loss over several days averaging over 6% We initially sent you an in-game warning about your connection's extreme instability in April which provided suggestions for how to fix the issue. You also received a 2 week restriction in September, along with another in-game message explaining why you were restricted. I have confirmed that you acknowledged these messages by dismissing the message window. Your restriction has been reviewed and will be upheld. To learn how to improve your connection stability by reducing latency and packet loss, please carefully read this page in our Network Troubleshooting Guide: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Troubleshoot?oid=13603 For more information about our Bans and Restrictions policies, including how to officially submit an appeal, visit https://bungie.net/bans

Your connection is your responsibility, not Bungie's. Subpar connections affect all the other players in the game, so they will ban you exponentially if you can't maintain a persistently stable connection with ample bandwidth. If you cannot figure out a way to better your connection, then stay out of PvP and Gambit - you can still play any PvE events and missions. Your first ban should have been a wake up call - now this one will last longer, and eventually you will be banned completely if you can't get it figured out.

If you can't get your internet up to par, then you need to stay out of PvP activities. Quite frankly, you should also just not play this game, as your connection will always affect others, but that's another matter.

Look Bungie unfortunately I can’t do anything about my connection I can’t have a good internet
If you “can’t have a good connection” then you need to stay out of PvP activities. It’s that simple. You do not meet the requirements so you need to stay out of those activities until you get a good connection. Playing Destiny is a privilege, not a right. If you can’t meet the requirements then you shouldn’t ruin other player’s matches.

Then don’t play pvp & have your internet ruin it for others. Plain & simple as that.
