The 8000 NBD in the last 6 years add up to what ? Incompetence? Complacent? Lazy? This game has gotten way worse than when multi millions played and now who knows how many, but looking at these and other forums I highly doubt the percentage of happy with everything is at a all time low and dropping fast

  • 8000 what? What is that figure? Have you ever worked on a project with millions of lines of code, hundreds of thousands of moving parts, and hundreds of people involved, while needing it to be used and accessed by millions of people instantly. Things go wrong all the time in every service based software product, to refer to anyone at any software company Incompetent, Complacent or Lazy is just the largest level of ignorance and entitlement I can imagine.

  • Sorry that your job is high stress with no flexibility for making mistakes, but in software dev bugs happen. And you should be able to find it acceptable that developers are not robots.

  • Other development teams seem to have a different business model

  • no they don't. My dad is the senior programmer for a high end Japanese company's NA branch with 20 years of experience and even he gets hits back with program altering bugs. You expect far too much. Nobody is perfect and when it comes to massive projects like this stuff breaks no matter what you do.

  • Delusional, I didn't ask for everything to be perfect all the time..but I have a pile of games that I don't even notice when it's updated . Just keeps on working correctly.

  • Maybe because some of them don't update at all? Some of them don't get taken offline when they update and others are taken offline because of the game. Typically games of the format of Destiny get taken offline while something like a Halo game won't get taken offline.

  • No. They really don't. This is the way the software business works. You do the best you can in the time they give you, push the code and get ready to duck. That's why there's extra Redbull in the breakroom on patch days.
