I would say At minimum 1tb. Probably get a 2tb SSD. It was literally the best thing I’ve bought for my Xbox X It cuts the game Start up time down from 2 minutes to about 40 seconds to character select. It makes the menus faster as well. No more mid map loading screen either. I don’t know how I got through without it.

1 ReplyHonestly I wouldn't do it at this point. They are launching PS5 in 10 months. Its going to have a built in SSD, and is supposed to be fully-backwards compatible with PS4. I think you're better off spending your money on a PS5 than in upgrading a PS4 at this point.

1 ReplyThis is a fantastic ssd and is very reasonable price https://www.bestbuy.com/site/samsung-t5-1tb-external-usb-type-c-portable-solid-state-drive-deep-black/6026202.p?skuId=6026202

get at least 1tb. it will fill up quickly but you will enjoy the speed in installing and playing single player games.

4 RepliesXbox and PC players downvoting you lmao i personally believe that you need at least 2 TB in case you decide to play other video games. If you know you’re only going to play Destiny, in that case 500 GB will do. Need extra space regardless.
Seeing mixed answers. Some say it’s enough others say 256gb is needed for SK? Can anyone confirm what amount of space is needed ?
The bigger the better. 1TB is the minimum in my book. My next mechanical HDD will be 16TB :D

The storage requirement for Destiny 2 on a PS4 is 104 GB, but you will need 144 GB for installation due to how the PS4 goes about installing games.

I don't know, but that sounds small for Destiny.

2 RepliesEdited by BraddyBo: 1/27/2020 8:40:18 PMSure, if 85gb is all you need. OS takes up 90gbs and you NEVER want to use more than 70% capacity on a ssd. 250x0.7=175 175-90=85 ~85gb of usable space I have 500gb ssd and i regret not getting the 1tb because i only have 260gb of usuable space.

4 RepliesIf that's all your putting on it, sure 256gb is enough. My d2 steam folder is 85GB currently and that's everything (all DLC).
