I only recommend doing this if you suspect that you will be shamed for posting something that your history feed disproves on the forums. Some raiders might also not allow you into their groups if they cannot confirm your raid progression history being claimed.

Yeah, but the only reasons to do it are to hide obvious revocs and lie about raid clears.
