Okay, so I'm a new player. I started in late December after hearing the base game went F2P after the breakup with youknowwho. I've been spending a few weeks gearing up three characters (I like to play every class so yes, it took a few weeks) and now that I've reached a point where I can start trying to get gear with specific stats and rolls and most importantly - LOOKS... I've realized that almost every obtainable Item from previous seasons is now unobtainable...forever. I thought maybe stuff that was removed would be brought back every now and then, but it appears seasonal content is never brought back. I specifically wanted the phenotypic plasticity ornament set, it's the coolest looking set in my opinion and something i'd be willing to grind for, and there is now no way to obtain it. All because i didn't play the game for those 3 months during Season of the Undying. My question is; Why does anybody at Bungie or anybody who plays this game for that matter, think this "you had to be there" model is beneficial to well.. anybody? Speaking as a new player, this is really turning me away from this game and i hope that in the future, there is a way to obtain past content, especially since we can apparently time travel now thanks to Osiris.
