I feel like this Attunement focuses too much on the Super, and even then, it's weak. The only upside of this Attunement is that Daybreak lasts longer with Everlasting Fire. It needs a buff to its neutral game, and a slight improvement to the Super.
1) Add an effect to Fated for the Flame where all your abilities ignite and weaken enemy defenses when they're damaged by them. Make the flame streaks during Daybreak (Super) linger like Voidwall Grenade, and ignite/weaken enemies they damage.
2) Add an effect to Everlasting Fire where your Grenade and Melee recharge faster while enemies are ignited.
3) Add an effect to Phoenix Dive where, when using it during Daybreak, the explosion ignites the ground.

Have warlock absorb dawnblade into their self to reintroduce radiance!
-
13 RepliesNope can’t have that. It got nerfed to buff top tree. Warlocks can’t have a good super and good neutral game in any subclass. You can only have a one or the other. Bungie hates Warlocks

2 RepliesGive. Me. My. Damn.... VIKING FUNERAL BACK!!! Preferably without making me equip some gimmicky-@$$ Seasonal Mod... PLEEEEAASE!!!

1 ReplyHeres my idea for a rework. Radiance- Instead of dawnblade you use the sunsinger super from d1. I would give it some changes. While in the super you get -Empowered Weapons and improved handling -Faster ability cooldowns (charged melee ohk) -improved mobility/recovery -improved air accuracy and hovering (like in attuemnet of sky) Melee- Flame shield. When this melee is cast you and nearby allies get a oversheild (the shield has enough health so you can survive 2 punches). This should last 10 seconds. Viking Funeral- Enemies touched by your fire are weaker and burn (similar to melting point). The DoT is 4 instead of 7. Song of flame - enemies killed while weakened give extra ability energy to you and nearby allies. The goal of this tree is to combined aspects of attument of grace but with a little bit more fire.
-
2 RepliesDare I say this? This might make some players salty.
give bottom tree dawnblade touch of flame and viking funeral
-
These would be great changes. But they’ll never happen. Bungie can’t decide what tree they want to be strong for dawnblade. First they buff bottom tree to last forever. (Needed toned down) then they nerf that twice and completely overhaul top tree. Not to mansion the movement speed nerf.
-
1 ReplyAs a Titan who is constantly surviving hits from this tree, I can definitely agree it needs a buff/rework. I wouldn't go as far as say all abilities weaken enemies because that'd be a bit absurd. I think the main focus should be igniting your enemies of fire as well as extremely strong crowd control. Just my 2 cents.
-
3 RepliesSo you just want the class to be built on igniting enemies, like another class already does in the game? Way of a thousand cuts anyone? Those seems copy paste from that. I main the class so I know.
i did not hit her I did not
Edited by Meow Fairy: 1/28/2020 5:01:25 AMThey should add resistance while using phoenix dive. It is way too slow to be usefull so it should be possible to use it as a sort of dodge if you are getting shot at in the air.

That dodge is amazing as is the melee

6 RepliesAs a Hunter, all I need to say is, "go play with your handheld nova".

And revert the sprint. It’s dumb too, they should have the top tree super strafe and the bottom tree should have the jump speed maybe not as strong as before but it shouldn’t be some basic jump. Honestly I’m still not completely satisfied with top tree the super is still blah the burst isn’t very good. It shouldn’t have a cool down or at least whatever the cool down is should be cut in half. It feels clunky.

I see that my 'weaking the enemy' idea is pretty universal 😉

not sure if i agree on the technical stuff but personally i would like Phoenix dive to do more damage to Guardians in the Crucible, basically always killing at least one even if full health and shields but also injuring others. So the damage circle should scatter outward giving you the possibility to kill more than one if they are already injured but have enough of a radius in the middle max damage cirle noticed a comment by - Knightlight D3 ? Dawnblade press RB and LB together Daybreak press trigger Phoenix dive hold B Icarus dash press B twice rapidly Sunsinger press RB and LB together (before super energy runs out) because you got killed while in your super on the technical stuff i guess when you res you just go back to Dawnblade but the super energy consumption would be hard to figure out
-
Well, it's an add clear super and it does that job perfectly fine. So knowing bungie, there won't be a buff anytime soon.
-
5 RepliesFunny, I was thinking subclasses across the board needed nerfs desperately. Supers and subclasses are starting to power creep again and it’s -blam!-ing obnoxious. Almost like bungie wants the skill gap to keep diminishing

1 ReplyI would rather them revert Burst Glide back to the way it was before. I hate hoping on my Lock now. Thnx Bungie.

If the class is focused on the super then the class needs a perk that grants more super, maybe any solar ability kills or any solar kills charges super as an example. Stuff like that goes a long way into improving the class
