Blue screen of death issues

Hi all, As of yesterday I started having some issues with destiny and it hard crashing my PC which leads to the infamous blue screen of death. I received the screen twice yesterday and once today and the code I got with today’s screen was Stopcode: DRIVER IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL What failed: Ndu.sys I don’t really fully know my way around all the drivers and such but I made sure my windows is up to date and my graphics card drivers are up to date (or at least it says they are) but this issue I’m only really seemed to happen with Destiny as I played a few other games yesterday without this happening. My specs: GeForce GTX 1660 Driver version 441.87 AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Six Core Processor 8GB of ram Asus B450 Prime Plus Any help is appreciated as I have absolutely no idea on how to fix this issue from screwing my PC even more.

  • Just set up my pc this week.. I was hard crashing.. so I had to type “repair” into the windows search option. Got to the file and then checked for issues. This updated the files and repaired the game. Also you may want to look into your internet connection drivers and make sure they are up to date. i.e. LAN or WiFi.. < this was my leading issue to my game issues.. Also go into your task manager and see what is running... anything cpu heavy can cause issues so maybe something there. I do not know all the correct “lingo”... but it is far easier than you think. A couple of simple searches lead me to each scenario I needed fixed and it worked.

  • I had the same issue with Warframe and other games including D2. This BSOD is usually cause of faulty drivers. So try updating your AMD and PC drivers. That should fix it.

  • Ndu.sys appears to be a Windows driver and is not part of Destiny 2; you'll need to troubleshoot this from an OS perspective.
