Digital Ph33r/Jon CJG is a flip-flopping hypocrite. (Legendary Hate?)
In this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X_qy3HtTrDQ he ridicules people who bought the legendary edition of Halo, yet in numerous videos preceding it you can see his Halo 3 Legendary edition Spartan Helmet, not to mention he has more toys than my nephew.
Trendy hipster much? He's always been preachy but now he's a jelly hypocrite. It isn't just him, what is with all the Legendary bashing? Granted, I don't use my flaming effect much because while it doesn't make you easier to shoot it does make people prioritize you over other targets.
I bought it first and foremost to support Bungie and because the demo wow'd me. The flames are great until I save up for inclement weather, the statue looks awesome, the journal is full of insights into the Halo universe, and the Elite Major Domo armor is the best armor you can get for an elite until Zealot.
It isn't for everyone, I get that. It's a way for diehard Halo fans with disposable income to support Bungie and get some extras for their trouble. If it doesn't interest you, fine, but don't mock people because you're jelly/poor/bitter.

OP take it easy, you obviously have a job so I can't tell you to do something productive in society so I'll just tell you to enjoy it when a person makes himself look bad rather than getting mad about it yourself. It's no big deal, he has in fact made fun of himself before, it's no big deal.

I honestly don't think he was being a hypocrite, he just didn't think it was worth his money. And I believe he got the legendary after it was released, for less at a garage sale in his blog. He's still a pretty funny guy and doesn't deserve the criticism.

Jon CJG is an -blam!-. Always has been, his machinima is crap, his originality went down the toilet after the second "Master Chief Sux at Halo", he's still YET to finish Deus Ex Machina, he gets paid to do the stuff he does even though it sucks, and did I mention he's an -blam!-?

Who cares what some dude with a Youtube account and a camera thinks? My opinion is my own, and I see nothing wrong with the Legendary Edition. I wouldn't personally spend so much money for something like that, but whatever. People spend their money how they want to.
