Iron Banner Ornaments
So for a second time we have had to do an Iron Banner questline to get the season 1 armor once again. Why do you we keep bringing this armor back if Bungie refuses to give us an opportunity to get the ornaments from season 2 and 3 for said armor. I hate to even say it but Bungie just think about it those ornaments that you keep skipping from season 2-3 iron banner are two seasons worth of armor that you could give us in iron banner with no extra work on your end. And when all is said and done and every seasons armor has been remastered and given out a second or third time you can finally start working on a new set maybe?

1 ReplyI agree, i dont like that each IB we are getting the old sets, i think a solution could be that we gets the same sets from the last season, which were actually new and pretty cool too, obviously they would have the current seasons mod slot, but the best thing they could do is have the older armor sets as ornaments which you could get randomly from spending the tokens with saladin or perhaps from completing the seasonal IB quest! They could even make it so the IB ornaments can only be applied to the standard IB gear, similar to how the crucible ornaments only work on crucible gear.

1 ReplyThey should focus on rewarding a new armor or new universal IB ornaments. I prefer the latter because in year 1, this was much more convenient and saved inventory space.

1 ReplyI concur. I don't mind grinding for a current season armour set (albeit it's just an old arnour set with an extra perk slot) but I DO mind not getting any new ornaments... It would be nice if I could earn ornaments for other Iron Banana season sets that I missed. Even better if they were something new.

1 ReplyYeah, it sucks. I think the only validation they have is their bringing that old armor to the Armor 2.0 system and now have element perks. Selfishly, I like this armor more than the last. And as for Crucible, I like Wing better than Phoenix. But switching around and around can to hell to your consumables. 😣

More or less my question to Bungie is why do you keep handing out the Season 1 armor if your not gonna give us the opportunity to also get it’s ornaments like for real can you just attach them to their own quest lines or something? Maybe something like the legacy quest lines for the actual campaigns except when iron banner comes around Saladin has the ornament quest lines to complete again.
