Everytime we visit Saint-14 he's always talking about how he walks the streets of the city, helping and chatting with the people all around him
This entire season keeps focusing on the fact that a Guardian at the end of the day is fighting for humanity above all else
But as players we don't get that connection
We don't play soccer with children, we don't help builders make new homes, we don't sit and chat with shop owners
We don't interact with the citizens, so how are we supposed to actually make a natural and meaningful connection to what we're apparently fighting for in this game?
How cool would it be if we the city was this one massive social space. But instead of vendors there are "patrols" and each one sees us helping the people of the city. Maybe there could be rewards or lore pieces hidden about the city streets? Maybe we could see iconic city locations in the lore like the consensus building or the dodge ball field?
If players could actually INTERACT with the thing we're supposedly fighting for, maybe more people would actually care about the plot other then lore nerds like myself?

Thanks for the suggestion. This has been recommended in the past. I'll let the team know that there is still interest in seeing the city made into a playable space in a future update. You mentioned having patrols, iconic locations, and hidden lore. Anything else you would like to see if this is something we add in the future?
