First off why would you guys make a primary fusion rifle? Huh? Huh? that was stupid, not like they aren't already the most broken and crutch weapons in the crucible at the moment. You're just allowing terrible and just barely average players to get these weapons and guess what have one hit kills. If they cant get a kill on someone better than they are with an actual gun like a scout, assault, or pulse rifle, and I dare to say a sniper because we know people who rely of Fusion Rifles cant actually aim. Then why in all that's below heaven would you keep making more and more fusion rifles to allow people to compensate for their downfalls. I thought the crucible was to make people better, but in actuality people are getting worse, due to the overpowered and no skill fusion meta we are unfortunately in.
How about this make damage fall off significantly greater, reduce damage or each bullet (Or not slug because that's a thing) at least this would require more bullets to hit you and force people to actually aim. Even remove backup plan, because why does it need it? Bungie you tell me why does a high impact fusion require backup plan? In my mind I think this is the worst time for crucible in a very long time because we have to deal with no skill players who rely to crutch weapons to carry them.
And yes I already know at least one persons going to be like why dont you use one * Snorts and lifts up glasses* maybe because some players in this game actually have pride and want to rely on other than the meta to be good at the game but who am I just a crucible vet from season 1, and Destiny 1, but hey what do I know?

They are valid counters to the actual meta, and take as much skill as any other 1hk special weapon. There is a reason that they are less used than snipers and shotguns in the game mode where winning actually matters, and that reason is that those special weapons are more powerful. There is no data to suggest they need to be changed. If players spent as much time adjusting their play to fight fusions as they do repeating old dead memes about them they wouldn’t even be an issue. If you see a fusion in your game and don’t adjust your play to beat it that’s a problem with YOU and not the weapons.

You're just mad because you want Handcannon/Shotgun to be the only viable loadout. There is no "Fusion Meta" There's a massive difference between what you crucibabies say is OP, and what you guys are actually using. In Kinetic slot, there's 0 fusion rifles. In energy there's 2, right after 2 handcannons, and shotgun, and a sniper rifle.
I just a crucible vet from season 1, and Destiny 1, but hey what do I know?
Nothing judging by the stats. There's only 2 fusion rifles in the top 10 energy weapons currently, and that's it. Hand cannons and shotguns appear most often in load-outs. We will see what happens next week, but so far, no dice on this narrative about these legions of unkillable fusion rifle users.
Top Weapons: Crucible January 14 - January 21 Kinetic 1. Bastion has an effective range of 10 meters. That is less than most shotguns.

4 RepliesEdited by piratepatchy243: 1/21/2020 3:08:23 PMLmao, Bastion isn't even in the best archetype of fusions. Haven't used it in crucible yet but I bet it's just like a base Main Ingredient, a 5 bolt kill and that's bad. Every fusion rifle of worth are a 4 bolt kill, there's only been a handful throughout D1&D2 with the current only being one archetype. In which arguments can be made, like firmly planted and backup not being on high impact frames. Saying all fusion rifles are "op" is just laughable though, they're barely on the table especially to shotguns that are most definitely meta.

They heard you loud and clear. That's why they released a new fusion rifle.

Haha didn’t take long! What ya gonna do.
