Hello,
I thought at first eriana's vow sucked big time and i vaulted it. I was wrong, towards the end of season 8 it became one of my favourite exotics.
To get the catalyst in season 9 though is completely unrealistic. I started with 30 points of 400. The catalyst booster does not count for eriana's so i have to play 370 games of crucible or gambit to get it.
Thats a bit ridiculous. So i suggest to let the catalyst booster also count for eriana's. Thanks.

5 RepliesThe Catalyst Quest Boosters only apply to the current season's exotic. Luckily, you no longer need to have Eriana's Vow equipped in order to earn progress. During Season 8, Gambit Prime matches rewarded double the progress of other activities, but I've got no way to test that during Season 9. Team Scorched will be back with the weekly reset tomorrow, and those matches last about half as long compared to normal Crucible matches.

Just play the game and you'll eventually get it. Don't start complaining about it now because you squandered your opportunity to do it faster.

I think Gambit prime is half the time but like you I’m stuck on the math.

3 RepliesIt’s crazy that I still don’t have it. I got only 20 left to go, but still feels like a wild dream. Do angels appear when you finally reach the zenith?

2 RepliesI think I got like 2 points total towards that during s8, lol. I don’t do much for group activities and that thing has so little ammo reserves it felt like it was out of ammo like 90% of the time so I almost never used it. It was great against enemies with large shields, and it’s neat it can also shoot through barrier champion shields, but solo I can’t break the shield with it before they fully heal due to a reload needed before the shield breaks, so again, I rarely use it. It has its uses, it was just more of a hassle than it was worth. I’m not really making much progress on this seasons either but at least it doesn’t need to be equipped so I still make some without really trying, lol. The required matches/strikes/etc is way too high on both either way though. It’s painfully slow for people who don’t enjoy playing with others.

4 RepliesYou’ll get it eventually and u don’t have to have it equipped anymore. It’s your fault for not finishing it in season 8 when there was boosters for it.

They either just forgot about it, or are extending the grind of the long season for us to get it.

This. Should have had the catalyst booster count, or reduced it to around 75-100 activities.
