3 RepliesIf hunters are making up for majority of the lobby, of course they will be killed the more than the other two classes. Majority of matches I play in 6v6 for example consists of atleast 3 Hunters on both teams ( and that’s being generous) usually it’s 4-6 . High level comp is nearly exclusively Hunters especially since the OEM nerf. Being able to jump/ evade out of most situations without any thought would warrant majority of players gravitating towards them in crucible, naturally. Warlocks move too slow aside from Bling w astrocyte verse / tranversive steps/ top tree dawnblade. They have many good exotics making their abilities better but their movement is their biggest weakness. Titans are fast ( while running in a straight line) and have OEM, synthoceps , Dunemarchers as neutral game crutches. Rifts and barricades require both classes to remain still to hold down key points whereas dodge is a “ let me get out of here”/ let’s break my opponents ankles button Of course I can only speak about how it seems to be on Xbox. Typically though Hunters run rampant running , jumping, dodging making it a pain to engage in 1v1 gunfights( stompees exaggerates this) . If you’re engaging a Hunter and they don’t run,dodge, or jump at any point then you haven’t ran into the ‘sweats’ yet because that’s literally all they do. Titans and Warlocks can run/ jump away as well but their movement is much more predictable in comparison to Hunters. You can run whatever you want. At the end of the day if your target is moving faster than you can comprehend they’re going to come out on top unless your aim is really on point. There’s a reason why majority of the ‘best ‘ players seem to gravitate towards them.

7 RepliesHunters are not easier overall to kill, there are just a lot more of them in Crucible. Just looking at my last ten 6v6s, in nine of those matches hunters comprised 50% or more of the players. There was one outlier match where only 2 out of 12 were hunters, but there were a couple matches where 7 out of 12 were hunters and one match where 8 of the 12 players were hunters. The rest of the matches were all 6 out of 12 being hunters. Bottom line is, Crucible is just top heavy with hunters.

1 ReplyIt’s funny doing my weekly crucible bounties kill 5 warlocks ... I was able to do 4 other bounties before I could even kill one warlock . Bounties need a rework and to be honest I love my Hunter I do share the wealth though , I have all 3 characters and all 3 are the same lvl right from around a month into D1 . I was a beta player from D1 started on a Warlock made the other two when they were available and haven’t looked back in 6 yrs .

1 ReplyEdited by Auren Dawnstar: 1/20/2020 4:21:04 AMA little low since I didn't really start doing Crucible frequently until around mid-Forsaken, and even then last season was the first time I did it enough to get the 5 valor reset triumph. Naturally I run across Hunters more frequently than the other two. I'm usually surprised if I see less than 3 of them in any given 6v6. Equally surprised when I see more than 1 Warlock. Lifetime 14,152 Hunters 6,097 Titans 4,350 Warlocks 4,238 Total Defeats 14,685 Pretty sure the Lifetime is actual killing blows you've landed while the Defeats include assists, but I could be wrong.
