Low Fps/High Cpu usage in Destiny 2 alone
In only Destiny 2, my cpu usage abnormally high and is around 70%-90% and fps at 30-50, this happens in no other game to my awareness, my ingame video settings are windowed borderless, with everything to lowest value besides texture quality which is at high, my specs are; AMD FX-8350, 16.0GB Single-Channel DDR3, 3071MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB, and ASRock 970M Pro3 motherboard.

5 RepliesThat is within range of what your CPU can do. Destiny is a CPU-bound game, and your FX-8350 is just not enough to run the game at over 60fps all the time, this is not a AMD issue, it's specific to this series of CPUs by AMD that are not that good, i run a ryzen 3700x and get over 140fps 90% of the time. Try lowering the graphics settings and rising the render resolution to cause more load on the GPU, it will make the CPU work less by making the GPU have more to do between the frame render times.
