Why do you hate solo casual players Bungie?
The title says it all. Bungie hates solo casual players pure and simple.
I used to like this game but now its becoming more like a second job largely because Im a solo casual player that just likes to collect the different guns in the game and I hate it. I cant find any reason to want to play this game anymore. Locking weapons behind missions that you need a fireteam to beat, behind PvP, behind raids. Whatever happened to "we want everyone to enjoy our game" Bungie? Im unable to get into fireteams for any of the raids because I don't have izanagis burden and I cant get that because that's a mission that requires a fireteam.
Piece of advice actually LISTEN to ALL of your community not just one side.

Not able to do at least a third of the stuff that's on offer like raids, dungeons, trials, that's so much loots we are missing out on and it takes the biscuit! I'm fed up with it! and FYI everyone else just because you all don't mind playing with randoms (the worst are the sweats and the toxic tryhards), doesnt mean everyone should be the same! each person plays differently and destiny SHOLULD cater for that not just the sweaty tryhards which it seems to cater for 100% of the dam time!! So get off your high horses with your ''get good'' crap and realise there is other type of gamers in the world!!!!! FFS!!!

1 ReplyI would consider myself a solo player in general and I’ve not had trouble with any weapons yet. PvP is very easy to manage as a solo player. But beyond that this is not a single player game. This is a multiplayer game, it’s how it was designed. You’ve got to at least consign yourself to playing with random fireteams once in a while. Bungie doesn’t hate solo players it’s just not the right game if you want a purely solo experience.

Which is nice because probably over 100 of my friends from D1 have all quit playing at this point. Essentially we can't do raids or easily do dungeons. With Dungeons you could probably LFG and get through them. Raids... well a lot of people are in big clans and have friends to do raids. That is ok. There is no point in chasing pinnacle drops for power level since they'll just raise the soft cap. I'm at +21 or 22 on the artifact as a solo player so over 980. You don't need more than that.

4 RepliesFor nightfall, matchmaking has not yet been introduced, although the players have been asking for this for a long time. In the field of PvP, the situation is the same. Bungie constantly force their competitive modes in quests, but they did not think that these modes will simply not be interesting to some players because of their mechanics. Why a competitive version of the control (or clash) mode has not been introduced yet is a mystery to me. Let them make a loss of rating for losses - I do not mind, but I want to play 6 on 6 mode and not 3 on 3 in some boring mode like elimination, where you need to hide around the corner waiting for an Arbalest shot between the eyes (may those who liked the trials of Osiris forgive me). P.S.: By the way, perhaps someone remembers that there was no matchmaking in heroic stikes earlier. Probably due to the fact that the developers considered the players too stupid for such complex tasks. I wonder how many years will it take until they make an optional matchmaking for all missions except raids.

8 RepliesThey don't. They really don't. Sorry that you meet shitty people who require x weapon. I get that, it is really infuriating. That happen with Ghorn in D1 iirc. Like, a lot. My only suggestion is to find a clan and/or any friends possible (even if just one or two) and try to work on some of the team oriented parts of the game to bond maybe? I don't know. Anyways, there is solo stuff. And there is also non-solo stuff. Bungie does listen to both sides of the community. Just because literally every exotic is achievable solo doesn't mean they hate solos. Most exotics you get through solo anyways.

I ran with the same people on D1 about six to ten people for three years. We helped every week with raids and stuff because we got it done, I had a falling out and fell into my anti social true self. Made new screen name and never looked back. I now as exclusively as can be just play solo in D2. I have gone lfg for everything from trials to leviathan early in D2, never kicked it off with people like I did in D1. I feel behind not buying Forsaken right away(eight months late) because my experience with the game was not the same without friends to play with every day. I’m still solo but have been going lfg again for some pinnacle activities, and still have yet to meet people that will invite me again randomly, because friends are hard to make I guess. The clan I am in is because of trials and I have yet to play with them since, that is how long it has been since I played with people in my clan. Sometimes I miss the friends I had only because I know I could be clearing stuff like D1, and since I am antisocial I think it will hold me back from....... Edited by Sweet Lew 88: 1/18/2020 7:24:29 PMThis game isn't promoted as a solo game. They have fireteams for a reason. I do mostly play solo, but can find teams pretty easy if I need to beat tougher content. If you can't find a fireteam, make your own with your own prerequisites.

Completed GoS raid 20 times and nobody used that sniper, much better weapons to use in that raid.

Saying they hate solo casual players is pretty nonsense, it's just that this isn't really a game made for solo play so that's not something that you should've expected. Hope you have some luck with the Fireteam Finder app.
