12 players of nearly the same skill levels playing each other is oppressive and frustrating.

1 ReplySbmm is great. Low playerbase, shitty team balancing, no region lock, no dedicated servers? Terrible.
-
You got the right answer with the wrong math. SBMM is bad because it takes forever to find matches. I match against people who live so far away that they lag. I don't care about playing good players, I care about playing.

1 ReplyHidden game history, I wonder why you don’t like Sbmm....
-
18 RepliesLil tim is 30 but still want to play little leagues, awww that’s cute
-
14 RepliesK/D ratio in the top 7%....wow, I'm shocked.....so you want to farm lesser skilled players because people in your bracket are too sweaty
-
3 RepliesAgreed. I’m sick of playing in lobby’s of all unbroken champions and players across the world from me. It also makes using experimental load outs horrible. If I try something that’s not my normal load out I get farmed and my team gets crushed due to vastly underperforming. The parameters are soo tight it’s crazy. Every match I get players teleporting all over, playing with the same 4 losdouts, or running in a sweat stack to farm kd. I’m match the same players over and over every day. It’s cool playing some streamers Every now and then but it gets old.

You’re going to have to understand that on bnet, having an opinion other than SBMM is the BEST THING EVER, you will automatically be labeled a BAD person. The argument surrounding MM is complex and pro SBMM advocates don’t have anything but straw man arguments, generalizations and name calling on their side.

8 RepliesGetting stomped isn't frustrating? Interesting

4 RepliesAwe I remember the days when we had cbmm and watched these forums beg for sbmm : not that I care either way, but I find it amusing that now that we've had sbmm for a while I'm seeing more n more posts asking to ditch it lol! I swear the more PvP posts I read the more I'm convinced that these posts are just circle jerks : "I lose more than I think I should, this game must be broken - please fix mode so it's easier for me" Boring
-
2 RepliesI mean if we go back to cbmm it’s back to stacked teams vs solo players
-
1 ReplySbmm is extremely irritating, since it’s in every playlist except one, which STILL has team balancing for who knows what reason. The lobbies get unbalanced anyways if you’re a good player, and you’re placed with lesser skilled players on your team and expected to carry every game. Supposed to be a “connection preferred” playlist too lmao. And no, these arguments are not bc higher skilled players want to “stomp” every game. If that’s your argument, you’re clearly missing the point. Just my opinion.

Problem is asymmetrical.. you need one top tier player to wreck an entire game since they have a completely different game flow and play style
-
Play clash if that's what you want.
-
Agreed

5 RepliesIf you faced a six stack of pros on a team playing crucible that is NOT fun. It is fun when you kill enemies that are obviously dumb, but it's boring in the sense that theres no challenge. SBMM provides a balance between the two. To be better than you are you must first face yourself.
-
I dont mind it.

1 ReplyTheres nothing wrong with sbmm so long as its not too strong. Otherwise (imo) its not enjoyable for anybody. Look at mw sbmm. Thats a nightmare.
-
1 ReplyThe matchmaking is so terrible right now! The lag is insane because I have to be matched up against guardians with the same skill level but drom around the world. I think indeed just pulling in people from close regions and after the lobby is full, get two even teams based on Elo is better
-
1 Reply12 players of highly varied skill levels playing each other is oppressive and frustrating. 12 players of homogenized skill levels is fun, interesting, potentially challenging but above all NOT FRUSTRATING.
-
1 ReplyEdited by Bendito Inferno: 1/17/2020 8:54:26 PMThe only thing I dont like about sbmm is the long queue times on xbox. If I play classic mix and I only have an hour to play. That's litterly 2 games lol
