Hello Bungie,
I'm sortoff new to Destiny 2. I have played 249 hours over the past month. I was having a blast untill this afternoon.
What happened was a friend told me to get the Coldheart DLC weapon. I purchased it from cdkeys and it gave me a redeemable key. The key however was a battle.net key. I redeemed the key at battle.net since i still had an old account but it didnt show the item ingame, obviously because Im using Steam. Then he told me I could move my items from battle.net over to my Steam account, by transferring them. I hit the approve button and now my steam characters of gearscore 970+ got deleted through this transfer.
Ive spend quite some money and time at the game over the past month and I really dont want to lose all my progress, purchases and content.
Please help me getting my characters and progress back. It would mean the world.

I am kinda desperate.
Gizmo.

3 RepliesIf you merged a battle.net account over an existing Steam account, the stuff that existed on the Steam account is gone forever. To make things worse, that Coldheart code is worthless. Since December, 2017, Coldheart has been in the exotic pool for all players, and those codes (which were preorder bonuses for the base game) no longer do anything.

5 RepliesIs there no customer support then? Crazy if they take your money, possibly hundreds, with no number or direct email for a actual response. It says Mentor for PyroAJM, is that just a peer with a lot of posts or a mod, an actual employee of Bungie or what? Does he know anything about it? No offence Pyro, just seems weak. I'll definitely not buy anything Bungie related again if there's no come back at all if something goes wrong. Bad situation Gizmo.. I feel for you.

Well you deleted a character since the accounts don't merge and that deletion is now final
