That's not using a race card. That's stating a fact. Using a race card is doing something to get your way. Please refrain from accusing someone of doing that without a strong reason.

He, brought up the topic, and said something about survival, and that has nothing to do with the game or topic at hand. As I said reading things here, I do not get his reason for bringing up the subject in the first place, but as I stated I may have missed something in context. So I was inquiring as to why it was necessary to bring it up in the first place on a video game topic, as this entire topic conversation has gone completely off the rails at this point. So if I worded something incorrectly I meant no offense in the slightest. I’m just questioning what the point was for him to bring up his ethnicity in a video game post on the state of the game according to Sols.

As I understand, because I'm also African American. I hate the race card being pulled, and I've seen my brethren do it time and time again to get their way or make someone feel bad. That generally is why it's used. To your last point, that's appreciated and thank you for clarifying.

Not to say that they don’t still exist, as unfortunately people are bred to continue hatred to each person regarding ethnicity as a whole,but he grew up during a time where it was much more in your face. It’s also possible that I don’t notice it because I’ve never looked at anyone different from anyone else, regarding ethnicity. We are all people, and thus all should be treated equally, regardless of ethnicity. I don’t know, maybe my way of thinking of treating people as people, has blinded me to hardships that others face. Too many people make quick judgements, and I admit looking back at it, I really did not word what I wrote well at all. Thank you for allowing me to clarify what I meant.

I think he just said he’s afraid someone will kill him because he’s African American. Not sure how it got here but good grief it’s gone off the rails. People tell OP to leave politics off a game forum and before you know it someone’s afraid they’re gonna die. Wtf?
