Erentil over powered range
It is true that Erentil performs better than most linear fusion rifles. It is a fusion that has the ability to operate as a shotgun or sniper. It doesn’t even require ADS to get a 1 shot kill. If we are honest with ourselves something about it needs an adjustment. What is everyone’s opinions?

I have yet to test this out but I believe it may be again a PC thing over Console User mostly. Correct me if I'm wrong.

10 RepliesStop being a potato. Erentil makes quick work of non-strafing potats or players who refuse to take cover + bait. It’s a weapon that is hardly used. Come on now.

6 RepliesIt does need a Range tuning but this might affect: OHK consistency on slow charging fusion rifles (yes, Backup perk needs to be removed) Other fusion rifles with a high Range stat Other fusion rifle's consistency There is no question that high impact fusion rifles need to have their Range brought in. However, as with handcannons, hitting them too hard can bend the whole archetype out of shape.

1 Replymy eriental is very inconsistent, i have field prep, and tap the trigger with max range, i can half map people at times but last night i was struggling to take shields off some people, then i was back to half mapping people lol, just got decent galiant charge with same stats so gonna give that a whirl, i had back up plan eriental and it was poor to say the least, i can’t see the fuss over back up plan tbh

It is true that Erentil is only over powered on PC due to M&K Recoil settings.

What is everyone’s opinions?[/quote] The gun isn’t over powered and doesn’t need any change. There is no data proving it’s overpowered and requires a nerf. It can’t be used like a sniper or a shotgun. It is used for what it is balanced for: medium range special 1HKs. All weapon types have strongest archetypes and rolls. Just because high impact fusions are the strongest fusions doesn’t mean they need to be adjusted.

Damn near every weapon in the game is better than Linears, isn't hard, LFRs are pretty horrendous. Fusions are designed to work between shotgun and sniper ranges.

What in tarnation are you going on about? None of what you said was remotely true so what exactly do you want us to be honest about? Did someone touch you in the naughty place with a erintel while you were trying to "outplay" them with your "high skill" play of straight lining them while mashing jump and dodge with a shotgun out?

Just in a PvP point of view, all fusions rifles are better than linear fusions. Regular fusions can 1 bang body shot someone and a Linear fusion rifle (which is a HEAVY weapon) can't body shot anyone unless you also have WoL, WoR or Empower rift. Why are they even heavy weapons??
