I donated over $100 to the charity . it’s been over 2 months and still no codes for the ghost shell or emblem . I have written game 2 give several times ( per bungies instructions ) with no response . I know this was for a charity which I love supporting but I will never donate to another Bungie charity event ever again . I can donate to a reputable company for the cause directly knowing that the funds are being handled in a correct manner . For all I know this charity is fake and stole everyone’s money . Did you steal everyone’s money Bungie ? I don’t know a single person who received the ghost shell and/or emblem codes . I think this calls for the FTC to look into this 1.6 million dollar fraud / scam . Somebody with a platform should investigate this further and expose if any illegal activity is taking place .

Do you want to give money to a charity? Bungie is not a charity! They are in the business of making money. NEVER GIVE MONEY TO ANOTHER TO DONATE FOR YOU! Your money will be divided and after the middle man gets their cut, then the charity gets theirs. Did you get a tax exemption form for your donation? No? Then bungie takes your money, gives what they want, and gets the tax write-off for themselves. If you want to donate to a charity, give your hard earned money directly to the charity. This is a tax scam for bungie.

Edited by BNGHelp6: 1/12/2020 2:45:55 PMHi there. Please send an email to Game2Give@bungie.com and provide your name, receipt, payment method, and the email you used when donating and explain that you never received your emblem code.

1. Go to your email 2. Search Bar 3. Type Extra Life 4. Click Extra Life email 5. Copy Code

You are probably one in thousands who are trying to contact them. Be patient. You will get what was promised. Hanging the threat of never donating to a Bungie charity again over is childish and is just flamebaiting at this point.

Giraffe neck level of oversight my friend lol

6 RepliesEdited by Wasabi: 1/11/2020 4:01:29 PMBuddy I used to be like you drinking 🤙🏾, hanging around forums, and making up stories just to get attention get it together would you.
-
13 RepliesLmao how you went from "I didn't get a digital skin" "fake charity, the government needs to investigate" is WILD
-
Sorry son but your $100 went up Luke Smiths nose at the Xmas party.
-
"Charity" = Tax free scam
-
2 RepliesMost charities are scams. I thought this was common knowledge.
-
"Donates" guised as a purchase, mad about it. I understand you got ripped off, but next time do charity trough a real cause, not a product sold to you as a marketing tool to create meaningless emotional attachment. This isn't charity it's"Corporate Social Responsibility" which is code for pretending to give back while profiting. You did not engange in charity, you enganged in Corporate Social Responsibility PR. Know the difference.

My father was a manager in a large bank’s international division, he’s dealt with large sums of charity money and says you’d be shocked at how much money gets siphoned off to third parties.

Edited by UncleObscene: 1/11/2020 6:51:32 AMThat my friend is called a Purchase/Transaction.....not a Donation, when expecting something in return. Sad thing is, I have a great feeling you would have paid $100 for the Emblem and Ghost Shell....anyways.
-
Never donate to 3rd parties. They scam and skim from it.
-
KRISTYMAJORS you make some valid points and i agree that eververse should be removed from this game but,Something dark stirs in the depths of the Hellmouth. We can feel it. A Hive abomination bred for unthinkable evil. We must pierce the veil of their Summoning Pits and destroy this creature before the Hive unleash it upon us all.
-
Imagine complaining about “donating” to charity because you simply want to “buy” the rewards.
-
Seen ghosts and emblems around buddy. And with proper looking you actually can see that these funds did go to charity. Its not difficult to do this and its definitely no scam
-
3 RepliesI’m sorry to hear you didn’t get those codes bud, but I do hope your donation goes to the cause And kinda curious, did anyone else actually get the codes, never seen anyone with the Ghost & Emblem while playing D2
-
Million dollar scam.... right. Yeah sorry to burst your bubble, but I've seen plenty of the donator ghost and endblems.
-
It was a transaction, you clearly wanted to give money to get something. Sure your situation is unacceptable from a business end, but you've made your intentions very clear about the "charity" part.
-
I've gotten all of my stuff when i give charity to Bungie. I would assume that the money is going to where they promise. The government keeps a close eye, i'm sure.
-
1 ReplyCharities are good for PR and lessening tax burdens. I learned a lot from watching folks "donate" or contribute to "foundations" that appear to help others. Now I've used this system to avoid certain things. The least I could do is pass on this knowledge.
-
Hopefully you are able to get it sorted out. It was either a couple hours or the next morning when I got the codes for the Emblem and Shell.
-
Got mine just fine. 🤷🏻♂️
I don’t know a single person who received the ghost shell and/or emblem codes .
Hi, I'm Josh. Now you know one.

I donated $50 and got mine the same day. One email thanked me and the next had two codes in a .pdf for an emblem and ghost shell.
