How come i am receiving such low FPS on destiny 2, about 100-120 everywhere i go everything i do. GPU usage doesnt go above 40% usage when im playing. Sitting on the moon in the photo i sent LOW EVERYTHING about 70-90 FPS
All low settings, 1920x1080 Fullscreen. 1 Monitor 144hz.
Vsync off.
Framerate limit off.
Trying to give as much info as i can.
FPS doesn't change much when i go from epic to low, Please help or message me if you have the answer or questions about my game settings or PC build.
Power saving mode on my PC set to high performance
Drivers uninstalled and clean reinstalled
GPU disconnected and reconnected ( Dont know if that does anything but why not. )
Thanks in advance for anyone going over this and taking the time to reply.

45 RepliesIt's your cpu. Ryzen is only good for streaming. I have a RTX 2070 Super and i79700kf and get 190+Fps low settings 1080p and 75fps at High Settings 4k.

2 RepliesI had similar issues that have been compounding over time, both with my gtx 1080, and my now more recently upgraded rtx 2080. Although I believe this is because of poor driver optimization on Nvidias part, more than issues introduced from bungies patches, as the problem has gotten steadily worse over time.

1 ReplyBest thing I can think of is wipe your hard drive and factory reset your pc in case you have malware or something. Ive never had an issue in this game but I had an issue with frame stutters in CSGO so I wiped my hard drive and started from scratch and ever since it has been flawless. Its kind of a rudimentary fix but if you have nothing super important on your PC and are willing to get rid of stuff then I think it is worth it.

7 RepliesWow! Only 100-120 frames! Man seriously you are not going to visually notice more frames then that. That should be buttery smooth.
-
3 RepliesYou overclock your Ryzen at all? If not, I'd suggest doing so, Destiny can murder CPUs, that's probably causing iffy frame rates

Try using Vsync. It tends to balance out games pretty well.
