I'm not going to bother searching 5-10 pages deep into forums to see if something I'm curious about or have a question on already has an answer. The search bar just returns News and Users. Why is there no forum search?
The irony is that this question might have been asked 100 times already, and I'd never know... because I can't search.

You used to be able to. I honestly couldn't tell you exactly when they took it away. With a little jury-rigging you can search via tags but that that's very limited due to it requiring the original poster to be considerate enough and accurate enough to do proper tagging of their threads.

3 RepliesDo you not know what google is?

Search on Google kid, just add bungie.net after whatever and it will come up with posts

4 RepliesGood question. My personal pet peave with this place is: When I click on a notification, I go to it...and only it. If I want to see all the replies Inhave to hit show all. It the replies are in response to a post I replied to....well..I have to scroll down to find my reply then click show all again.

It used to let you lol weird

Bungie: were listening, so we have decided to remove the ability to create topics in the forms.
-
Forums got bungied
-
Bro for real though. Why have a search function on forums if you can't find the topics you're looking for...
-
Bungie's MO... "always add an extra layer no one asked for..." Thanks Bungie.
-
Cause this site sucks. I told Cozmo months ago it needed improvements that made it more useful and convenient (after feedback got moved) He acknowledged it, nothing since.
-
It would be nice if there were a topic search for the forums, but unfortunately there isn't. You can use a search bar and type in ""your topic" bungie.net" or ""your topic" bungie forum". Not ideal, but it works.

Content is hard

But you had fun, didn’t ya? And made some friends?
-
Why is there no forum search?
Because then we'd have a built in monitoring system of how many posts about a topic have been posted and not addressed and Bungie can't have that since they are supposedly "listening to our feedback"

The funny thing is it's easier to search this site via a third party internet search engine.
