I think they should implement some way to earn Silver. Now that they have what is essentially a battle pass they should do what almost every other game that has one does and have a way for us to earn silver so we can earn the pass. I’ve played fortnite for a while and have got almost every battle pass through earning the premium currency in game. I’m sure a lot of people will still buy the season pass but it would be nice for a way to earn it for the people that can’t spend money on their games every other month.

1 ReplyI believe it’s called “employment”.

Totally lost me at “I’ve played Fortnite for a while.” I can’t take any words after that seriously.

1 ReplyEdited by Sigma: 1/11/2020 1:53:18 AMyou have to remember they have to pay the devs to make the game and new art.. only reason games like warframe can do it is because all the "silver"(plat) in the game was PAID for by someone, then traded, it retains it value in rl monies. same with EVE and the plex system, destiny really doesn't have a system for that and if you want more/better content, earn some extra cash and buy some silver... its called "supporting the game and devs" one thing I can attest to is I think some of it is a tad bit over priced, especially the emotes 1000 for a damn emote is insane, come on bungie lol they also do allow you to earn some stuff for free via the bright dust loot table each week so... this kinda already is a thing I feel like I see way too many people asking and begging for free easy stuff, they have to make an incentive or people will earn everything really fast and then get bored and quit.

2 RepliesThe best way to earn Silver is through a job.
-
8 RepliesYou can't figure out a way to earn less than $4 a month for "fun money"? Don't get me wrong, I'm all for activities that give Silver. I just find it odd that somebody has a gaming system and can't figure out how to make a very small amount of expendable income. Hell, even if you are 12 years old you could come up with some way to do it.

2 RepliesIt’s Called get a job. Shouldn’t be that hard because the economy is booming with record low unemployment
-
2 RepliesI could get on board with silver being included in the season pass rewards. it i think 100 silver in the tiers that give 100 bright dust would be a great change.
-
5 RepliesThat would be cool, similar to warframe how plat can be earned through trade. Maybe in Destiny, completing a pinnacle activity gives you 1 silver.

Your post will be met by bungo whit crosses, silver bullets and holly water.

with the state this game is in, every new content release barring a major DLC should be free.
-
Bring back eververse bounties with dailies rewarding XP/Bright Dust & weeklys rewarding 50-100 silver and huge XP.
-
9 RepliesDestiny might have the first premium pass that doesn't pay back the currency. Sad really.
-
Agreed, if you have the season pass or that specific season, there should be a way to earn silver within that season.
-
The irony is that Activison allows you to earn COD points in the Modern Warfare Battle Pass lol
-
just remove silver and dust and the whole dam eververse. Ive already bought the game. everything should be available by playing.
-
Well, why not? Kill 1 million cabal/vex/fallen/scorn/taken with solar/void/arc damage bounty, which will grant you 100 silver! Just 10 million enemies during season to get new battle pass! =)
-
I think the point of Destiny is to find people who will spend money. Letting us earn silver wont buy Luke a new Merc next year.
-
3 RepliesYou earn silver at your job. Bungie logic is if it doesn’t make dollars it don’t make sense.
-
5 RepliesMaybe by watching ads...

No chance. It will impact on their profits. It will be like the vendors, something they don’t touch.
