Mindbender’s Farm is Burning me Out
I’ve done a LOT of Mindbender’s Ambition farming this week. And I ONLY received like 5 drops. You guys really need to buff the drop rates for this because running this nightfall over and over again without rewards and just hoping to get the gun much less a good roll is burning me out. I don’t see why you can’t just guarantee a drop after every completion since we already have layers of RNG to get the roll we want. I don’t think people are farming this nightfall just to get the weapon itself, but rather farming for a specific roll so it won’t be like tossing candy out for free.

Both guns are just as good if not better in some ways than mindbenders. Hell even hawthornes shotgun is really really good if you get one with full auto. Just cuz a bunch of youtubers say a particular gun is the best does not mean it's the best. Most youtubers and streamers say this about guns that are hard to get just because it's the elitists nature in them, they like to showboat and rub it in the casual players faces.

One of my most memorable times in D1, was farming the omnigal strike for the pulse. For those that weren’t around you could melt the boss the first time you seen her, then wipe and restart the encounter and 10-15 seconds later you could kill her again. You could do several in an hour and at the end there would be 10-15 legendaries on the ground and maybe an exotic or two... I enjoyed it! I too farmed the first time for MB this week. We were doing like 10 minute runs, and I got to say... it wasn’t as fun as omnigal. Out of maybe 15 runs I got 3, and I was extremely lucky with the roll. Each one was missing one roll from being godly, but I still consider myself lucky. Since when did becoming so stingy with the loot become fun for anyone? I get exotics being rare, but god roll legendaries shouldn’t be this rare IMO.

3 RepliesI just counted. I completed 41 runs of the Hollowed Lair nightfall and got Mindbender’s to drop only 5 times. This is beyond ridiculous. Bungie, shame on you!

Edited by H80sReject: 1/6/2020 7:39:37 PMWhat are you looking for exactly? Mindbenders is pretty much only good for pvp. I got a roll with moving target and snapshot along with the other perks that make for a good pvp shotgun along with slapping on an icarus mod.

That's literally always how strike specifics have worked. They're often really good, and really rare. If you want the god roll, gotta sell your soul

Needs to go back to strikes especially since they took away are abilities to had modifiers that help just us.
