I recently started playing Destiny 2 . Bungie needs to add a freelance mode for us solo queue players in Gambit ,i'm tired of getting match made against stacked teams ,the match making is awful in any player vs player activity in Destiny who the hell is in charge of the match making in this game ??A bag of dildos??WTF fix your game bungie

I agree the match making in Destiny 2 has always been terrible since Day one but i'm pretty sure a bag of dildos isn't in charge of it .Last time i played destiny 2 Gambit didn't exist in the game ,i tried it out last night the part i enjoyed the most was invading .Win or Lose who cares it's just a game have fun playing it or play some other game mode.

Edited by Miss kikimora: 1/7/2020 12:56:21 AMGreat suggestion . This is why i don't play Gambit at all i don't care about a win or a lose but going up against a stacked team when you solo queue is just dumb .

8 RepliesThere shouldn't be separate freelance modes, it should just be built in to the matchmaking. This applies to everything. If you're searching solo, it should match you with solo players. If you're in a team of 4, it should match you against other teams of 4. At the very least it should make team compositions the same, so if there's a 3+1 on one team, the other team should comprise of 3+1. I've no idea why they think it's OK to match 4 stacks against 4 randoms in any game mode. Yes you sometimes win them, but the odds are massively against you right from the get go.

7 RepliesYour power level is really low at only 920. Unless you raise it significantly, you will have a rough experience. I always solo queue, and I never have difficulty. Tonight I killed the entire enemy team while invading, and got another Army Of One. Often I am at the top of my team due to my power level. Currently, it is at 980.

1 ReplyThere should only be freelance modes

1 ReplyI feel like there should be a tutorial for Gambit. Even in regular Gambit, it seems like the vast majority of the people don't know what to do or how to play it. A simple tutorial for the game mode would increase the QoL of the game mode by so much, since it would allow players to get educated about the game mode, how to play it, and the roles should they go into Gambit Prime. I hate it when my teammates steamroll the enemy team because the enemy team doesn't know how to play the game, and likewise, I hate it when the enemy team steamrolls my team because the other 3 don't know how to play.

Recently in gambit prime I've been seeing more and more fireteams of 2-4 running that bow that is glitched. The exotic bow that's doing 2-3 times more dmg than it should be doing and is still not fixed or disabled. A few times we popped out boss first (they were like 40-50 motes behind) but because the enemy team was using this busted bow they melted the boss in like 15 seconds. Bungie is so pathetic.

LoL get farmed #livestock

1 ReplyThey really need to completely remove both modes and work on balancing the gameplay. Solo queue would help a little bit though in the meantime.
-
Nah you need to play the objective. I've beaten full team's while being on a team of 3 randoms and been beaten while being on a stacked team.

2 RepliesIt is fun smashing a 4 stack when you're with 3 other blueberries tho
500 years
1 ReplyNah, gambit isn’t important at all. It’s not competitive mode. I started just a few months ago and it’s only mildly annoying vs a 3 or 4 stack. Most of the time you won’t go against a full team though. The best thing to do is get a good sniper and learn how the invader spawn points work which involves seeing where your team mates are and basically which corner of the map is empty. If you can get Izanagis just load up a 4 shot and OHK the invader even on a body hit. But even so the only time going against a team is annoying is the 21% delirium quest where you need to kill a lot of envoys and prime evils and a full team means they’ll probably burn theirs before you can even get to the prime evil stage.

1 ReplyI literally stopped playing Gambit. The matches take too long for the time I have available and I can get a lot more done in other activities. That and the stacked teams.

1 ReplyEdited by SwiftBMF: 1/7/2020 12:33:06 PMOnly ever won maybe 3 match's out of around 25 games played & gave up with gambit. 90% Im top for damage & motes banked but Im always on the losing team. ALWAYS
-
When I'm just doing weeklies for bright dust Gambit is the last one I'll consider doing. Between everyone trying to compete with their own teammates for motes, they guy who insists on getting 15 no matter what, the two guys who don't know what keeping the bank clear of blockers is, and invade-happy harry hopping over every 90 seconds it's just not a fun experience. The mode is far too in favor of organized teams to have rando's going up against them.

Stacked teams are usually one or two decent players with 2 or 3 average to terrible players. For me beating a stacked team with my team of 4 randoms is the most satisfying thing in the game. It happens quite often.
-
1 ReplyActually I solo que only and haven't really had any issues beating teams. I busted out hush yesterday and am almost finished with python today. Other than the team of 3 wishenders and an invader, most teams are pretty easy to beat. 3 people abusing the broken wishender to feel good is just sad.
-
3 RepliesI mostly use gambit for catalyst grinding... make the drifter impactful again xD
-
I’ve had mixed luck with stacks in Gambit. Or at least Gambit Prime. Some stacks seem very coordinated, while others can barely summon their prime evil by the time we’ve ended ours.
-
Fireteams are the biggest farce in this game outside of raids where you need actual coordination. Even Bungie thinks so. Just look at their quests/bounties.
-
theres no replies here but I agree with this 100%.

Great suggestion. 👍

It's really not that bad. Gambutt is shit regardless though.

5 RepliesEdited by Sweet Lew 88: 1/6/2020 8:23:19 PMNah, I think it's ok. most of my games are solo and I do well, even if I play full teams. If I do play in a team my win percentage goes up quite a bit. If you want to win so bad, why do you choose to play solo queue? If you think matchmaking is so bad, why use it? I play solo because I don't care if I win. I play to win but don't mind losing.
-
Their matchmaking is always garbage. They believe in ‘stomping’ as a regular occurrence, despite their players arguing otherwise. They are inept, arrogant fools who look down on their community, even though their greed and stupidity have already cost them over 93% of their players. Delusional.

Getting 4 stacked is rough when trying to finish the last part of malfeasance 😔
