CRUCIBLE IS ABOUT SKILL BUNGLE NOT ONE HIT SKILLESS GUNS
Making everyone good at the cost of no skill idiot weapons and supers and abilities makes the game worthless as the no skill guns you keep adding to crucible. This is why i know you will never be able to pull off trials. Bottom line you guys are too stupid to see that crucible is about gun fights. Yet you continue to add no skill guns to the crap loot table. This is why this game is failing. Pvp sucks. It is boring and repetitive and pvp is nothing but erentils, jotunns and overpowered titans. Still looking for a good gunfight and i know it will never be in Destiny. Failure extreme

In Battlefield this was the same issue that came up, known as TTD (time to death). I want to be able to react and survive a gunfight like I did in D2 Y1. Way too many things one-shot in this game, bringing the TTD to 0; literally round the corner and die. Imo, the only things that should one-shot are linear crits, sniper crits, slug shotgun crits, rockets, heavy grenade launchers/shotguns, heavy sword swings, and one-off or heavy super attacks (precision shots top tether). This means everything else that currently one-shots should require a buff, debuff, or second quick attack. No shoulder charges, pocket novas, shotgun, fusions, or any other light attack should kill without a follow up shot/melee/grenade. Acceptable perks for one shotting include rampage x2, the final shot of high impact reserves, and damage boosting perks for sword light attacks (I'm hesitant to add box-breathing).

5 RepliesMy solution is just to add a game mode in crucible labs that uses primaries only. Then add one that uses special only. Bungie can see how the community responds and if they like it they can have both options for competitive. Primaries only or specials only.

The game is never going to be balanced on the PVP side while supers exist so try just having fun instead of letting a piece of entertainment instill such negative emotions

1 ReplyPut Special in [b]a box[/b] AFAIK, every one-shot weapon uses special ammo, the problem is heavily reduced if you stop receiving ammo for special at the start of every life.

I started using a shotgun. The game feels so much easier. I just hold forward.

Lol, so D2 vanilla? No that shit was garbage, it wouldn't have changed if it wasn't. To top it off whatever they do you nerfherders will still continue to -blam!-. More often than not the approach to balance is -blam!-ing awful, the balance asked for by players is too and usually self centered. Ffs come up with solutions that won't -blam!- weapons/gear or move the -blam!- on.

The aim assist/bullet magnetism (depending on mouse or controller) makes aiming a total joke and the skillgap is the lowest I have seen in an fps. You can take out the cheese weapons like lord of wolves, erentil etc all you want but even with just primaries and nothing else this game is still nothing. The game’s Pvp is fun to mess around in and whatever but acting like it is in the realm of competitive is pointless.

I want them to remove shoulder charge, knifes and Hh nova. There are so many ways to kill people anyway. The rest is good. Perhaps the erentil needs a minor tweak for its range but even then it’s still fairly balanced.
