i just hate getting the same teammates and enemies every game, if we lose against them. why would you put us against them again?
-
Don’t solo queue then. Find a team and play with them. There’s always something called LFG

5 RepliesThen bungie needs to stop requiring every quest to do crucible. Trust me no pve player wants to play you sweaty modded controller having lag switching stack try hard teams either but bungie knows the only way you schmucks look good is to force players with no experience no map recognition and no try hard team into the slughter. Just like anything else if you do it every day you get good. Me i cant stand destiny multi player no skill having heavy using panic throw that special cuz you cant play real multi player. Nah just kidding your the best you basement dwelling 12 year try hard.

Edited by Snoopy: 1/6/2020 1:53:33 PMI feel ya man. I grinded solo almost the whole way before I ran into the wall of bad matches. It can be a real drag going solo. It seem easy climbing to the top, but once you get close the meta comes to slap you down. Sometimes you just have to ride the stupid wave if you want to win. Meta and all. And before anyone ask, no I dont have the same luxury of playing with ppl/friends. Different timezone/playing from overseas due to "work" can put a damper on your gaming life.

6 RepliesHi 👋🏼 I’m one of those shitty teammates. I speak for most when I say we are trying our best. Lol I just have stuff that still need completion in comp. I get more frustrated about letting my team down over losing.
-
The problem is it's still matching people at high ranks with people at low ranks I played several games with people sub 1k to 1500 glory that should never happen and I've played against teams that had several unbroken a or people at 4700-5500 while I'm nowhere near that. That's not skill based or an even playing field even remotely being matched with people 2k +/- your current glory
-
Something's up with the matchmaking. I'm at 4000 glory and I'm matching with people of the same skill/glory I was at 0, it hasn't gotten any more difficult.
-
It’s part of it. Sometimes I dominate and my teammates dont do well. Sometimes I’ll have a dominant teammate and I don’t do that great. To me I’m more worried about the lag. I don’t mind being outplayed but I despise losing because of lag.

4 RepliesI don't play much comp/survival. I did recently go in there just so I could get my points up high enough to get the Randy's throwing knife, Komodo and recluse. I noticed that in these games modes who wins or loses really has nothing to do at all with who has better team mates or better players in general. 90% of the matches were won or lost by one simple thing that has nothing to do with skill or teammates. It's all about who snipes best. That's seriously the biggest determining factor in these 3v3 elimination type modes. It's why I always hated them and never understood why trials was so popular. No skill, no tactics, teammates don't matter, if one team has a expert sniper with a god roll beloved or some other op sniper rifle they generally win every time.

1 ReplyMatchmaking on comp seems to be split into 2 groups. Players 1, 2 and 3 are the "top skill" players Players 4, 5 and 6 are the "Randy's" Sometimes the teams are 1, 5, 6 vs 2, ,3, 4 Sometimes it's 1,2,3 vs 4,5,6 Sometimes it's 1,3,5 vs 2,4,6 It's random and sometimes heavily biased towards certain players. If you are a strong 1, you're gonna be forced to carry 5 and 6 while your enemy team is stacked with 2,3,4. I dunno. It's Crazy :/

4 RepliesI'm also one of those shit teammates. No idea what Bungie are thinking when I'm being matched against Unbrokens who are clearly much better than me
-
Edited by Cosmic Owl: 1/4/2020 11:34:14 AMThe issue is it’s usually you and two shit players against a team of competent players. So why can’t one bad player be on each team? Why is it always a -blam!-ing massacre? I’m not good enough to carry two people, I’ve done it on rare occasion but in general absolutely not. Why does the game seem to think it’s appropriate to make me try to do so 4/5 times?
-
Carry harder
-
Birds of a feather flock together.
-
Or....just clutch it...not hard dude /s
-
What’s the big deal about being asked to carry from time to time? One of the biggest arguments against SBMM is you don’t improve playing against players that are at your skill level. Well, you will when you face three of them with no one to lean on 😂. I went from rarely clutching anything, to clutching almost half of my opportunities. Furthermore, the ones I lose I always realize I made a mistake and try to learn from it.

1 ReplyMatchmaking this season is simply stupid. Like yesterday me and a friend played survival for an hour and every time the random dude in our team would have 0.2kda. One match even got a player who afked every 2nd round. Then later we got another friend and were matched against players already at max rank and high diamond elo. Meanwhile we’re 3.5k glory and gold elo. What the actual -blam!-? Then I looked up one of the teams we rekt 4:0 and there was a guy with 5k glory but 0.25 kda. I don’t even. How are bad players so high up already, while someone like my above average skill team is mostly matched against super sweats and having to carry literal newbies?
-
most important rule of comp ESPECIALLY solo comp, don't ever depend on the blueberries cause thats how it sounds like from your title. Comp is meant to be hard. or go on lfg and look for people
-
*Bungie gives you good teammates -everyone you beat: "OMG bungo stop putting me against stacked teams!!!!"
-
Id rather have shit teammates than ones who leave after losing a single round.
-
Honestly, that's the risk you take loading into Survival: Freelance. If you want better teammates, look for people that play well with your play style and move to the regular Survival playlist. The people playing in Freelance are there for a reason.
-
You’ll have to find your own at some point in mythic. Got tired of the 2v3s or bad plays from other teammates
-
100% agreed! I’ve been playing god tier players all season I don’t get it
-
Edited by an Ape with a d2 addiction: 1/3/2020 9:03:02 AMDisclaimer: gonna be that guy. Pre-shadowkeep the only realistic way to get to 5500 was making a 4-man team. Remove random matchmaking elements from your winning chances all together. That still applies. If you truly want to play to win, find 2 other folks who synergise with you and improve as a team.
-
If you really are good it isn’t hard. Shit teammates and all most of comp now is just shit players to begin with 🤷♂️
-
Get better so they match you up with better people.
