Personally, I'm tired of coming to the forums and scrolling through hella posts of people complaining about the same shit. I know the point of the forums is for the community to have a place to voice opinions and talk about the game, but sometimes it's just tiring reading what feels like the same post over and over you feel me?
I agree tho, Bungie has a lot of stuff they need to get their shit together on and things they've neglected that have messed a lot up.
However, destiny is still a game I enjoy and have enjoyed for awhile, and isn't that the point of playing a game at the end of the day?
I know there's others who feel the way I do so
therefore Ima switch up the forum's vibe and ask the community what's your guys favorite type of weapon?
Pulse rifles, scout rifles, hand cannons, auto rifles, etc.
Arc, Solar, Void?
Suros, Häkke, Veist, Omolon?
Raid weapons?
Even D1 weapons if youre an OG like that
Bottom line what's your favorite weapon, and let me hear what for
Personally me, I've always preferred the feeling of having a good ass sidearm and a scout rifle or a sniper or something. It gives that sort of space scout or intergalactic assassin type of thing lmao
Fatebringer tho was still one of the most solid guns in it's time

My favorite weapon was the hopscotch pilgrim from D1 it helped me get my first and only perfect crucible match. From D2 my favorite has been Hard Light. Not the most useful weapon but it was my first exotic in both D1 and D2.
-
I enjoy my shotties and snipers. Chaperone or mindbenders, and beloved or long goodbye are some of my favorites.
-
Pulse rifles. I like all of them but my favorite is my perfectly rolled God tier Blast Furnace. I must have 60k kills on all my different Blast Furnaces but my true favorite has over 30k kills and rising. It’s roll is Rasmussen ISA/Satou focus lense, steady rounds, feeding frenzy, kill clip and a stability master work. You see a lot of blast furnaces in the game but not the above mentioned roll. It took me months of farming frames in the forges to get it. It was worth the grind and is my favorite weapon in the game. It excels in both PVE and PVP. My honorable mention roll is exactly the same but with Zen Moment. I love me some Blast Furnace lol.

1 ReplyTwo of my favorite weapons in the game are “Last word” and “ace of spades”. Also like the “Fighting lion”.

1 Reply200rpm scout rifles

I'm just getting back into the game after a year break so anything from BA up until now I haven't seen. But my favourite go-to Primary has been Scouts since D1's Visions of Confluence , Nameless Midnight was my D2 baby for the longest time. I've also always really loved swords since their introduction in D1 but D2's have felt a little lackluster besides Black Talon imo. Bows are my other favourite weapon type to use. Any good gun recommendations are appreciated :D

1 ReplyI've personally really thought of Drang as an unsung hero even among sidearms. The gun had always been absolutely solid for both PvE and PvP, and the recent buff to sidearms has obviously only made it better. I recently went back to Menagerie to farm a new Drang (Baroque), and my first drop was a Quickdraw/Swashbuckler. This thing feels so good to use. Before I went to get this, I was using a Translation Theory with Tap the Trigger, and my new Drang still feels easier to stay on target.

1 ReplyEdited by Corrick II: 1/3/2020 8:02:05 AMAuto Rifles. I play video games to feel like my favorite 80’s action movie stars. AR’s do that for me. Specifically? Monte Carlo. Looks great, feels great. Such a great post, thank you for this opportunity.
-
my favourite weapon type has always been the hand cannon. fatebringer, the fulcrum, spare rations, and Luna's Howl are some of my favourites.
-
I like them all to be honest. It's just fun rotating through my collection.
-
I love auto rifles but because they lack the bite other weapons I rely on 390 pulse rifles, scout rifles like Night Watch and bows. Fusion rifles as well. Proelium FR3 is the kind of weapon that makes me say Now THIS Is Future Tech.
-
The moment I got my first 77 Wizard in Vanilla I fell in love with fusion rifles. I had the pre nerf Mythoclast and had to watch as Bungie beat fusions to a pulp, spat on them and then kicked them off a cliff. Fast forward to Black Armory and a gem called Jötunn randomly drops for me. I bring that toaster into every nightfall and dungeon.

Edited by an Ape with a d2 addiction: 1/3/2020 3:16:56 PMPvp player sliding in. Wish Ender + quickdraw Thin Line. Wait I'm serious. Don't leave yet. You can 2 tap any resilience with that. Either wallhack'd headshot with Ender -> bodyshot with quickdraw'd Thin Line or Wallhack'd bodyshot with Ender -> headshot with quickdraw'd Thin Line or Headshot with both for absurd range. And we thought precision bow + Eriana's Vow 2-tapping was bad. Least you needed green ammo. Check this out: https://streamable.com/thk16 Would I take this to comp over sniper? Probably not. Is it a total quickplay meme and gets you lotta lovemail? Oh yes. -edit- This is unrelated to the current wish ender pve damage bug. The pvp damage is unaffected and working as intended.

4 RepliesOmolon Sniper Rifles, theres only one available in destiny 2 and it doesnt have snapshot so it is useless :(
-
Grasp of Malok, LDR and gally
-
Bows and Rat King
-
Pulse rifles. Mainly blast furnace because theres zero recoil on it and with outlaw and kill clip it's pretty solid.

Edited by DEAN_67__MI: 1/3/2020 12:41:02 PMI like auto, pulse, hand cannon, side arms, smg and GL Don't like RL cause of the one rocket in the mag as opposed to my GL that I can spam 5 at a time. Fusions are a cool concept, but not my bag really. I like snipers, and have one on me, but only use it for Banshee bounties. I wish the auto rifles would get a damage buff for PvE at least. I really like them, but there are better options out there.
-
Auto rifle gang, rise up
-
For pvp I love blast furnace and recluse combo For pve Telesto is the besto for me and maybe paired with a sniper
-
I miss my blind perdition

4 RepliesI personally liked pulse rifles and auto rifles in D1. They feel a little insignificant in D2 because of the godlike favor of handcannons. Red death was a good pulse in crucible because it hit hard and was fantastic. My overall favorite weapon in the destiny universe would either have to be zalo supercell or grasp of malok. Either of those are formidable and the sound if their shooting is quite intimidating.
-
3 RepliesPulse Rifles and Slug Shotties. Specifically rapid fire and lightweight frame pulses. Nightshade is my favorite pulse in the game. Too bad it sucks in the current PvP meta, which is why use Claws of the Wolf more nowadays. I loved Suros pulse rifles in D1, but I am not a fan of them in D2 because they're all 390 RPM. Good Bone Structure, Gunnora's Axe, Blasphemer. All great shotties with the right perks. Even tho I love legendary slug shotties, I hate Chaperone because imo that thing has way too much range.
-
Pulse Rifles. Timepiece Clever Dragon 😉 Most importantly Strange Suspect

Edited by PJSweet: 1/3/2020 7:27:23 AMI've always enjoyed scouts, especially in D1, they felt more reliable and fun like boolean gemini, tlaloc and ToM. I do really like the scouts in d2 like Symmetry was a great addition, it adds a neat function and feels unique. Same with skyburners. Just wish there was more you know.
