PS4: Destiny 2 ( Slow left turn/fast right turn)
hi
I noticed that my left turn is super slow compared to my right
it's only happening in destiny 2
my controller is working fine on other games
any ideas on what's happening?

I figured it out, you have to click the R1 stick while turning right and then you will turn at the same speed.

I am not gonna lie theres an 80 percent chance that you can buy a new controller and it can have that problem and its only Destiny 2 i went through at least 14 controllers in 2016 until i found ONE JUST ONE out of 14 that didn't have the problem. I wish bungie would fix this instead of making us spend money on there lack luster expansions

Just started happening to me a year later. Doesn’t happen with any other game. Destiny 2 pretty much unplayable now.

Yeah I've been having this problem for a long time and it's just destiny not any other games I play and I have no problem on PC it's mostly just PS4 and Xbox Bungie we may have a controller mapping bug to add to the list

I'm having this problem as well. Noticed it started a month or two ago. I thought I had a defective controller and just bought a new one on reflex, but I'm still having the same issue. Even worse, maybe, as both turn directions are super sluggish. This does not make Crucible or strikes very fun. Just to add a bit of detail, I recently connected my PS4 to my 4k Samsung TV via HDMI. At first I was having major controller lag issues all around, but there was a setting I changed on the TV for gaming and it calmed it down a lot. I still notice it occasionally, aside from the turning issue, which is fairly constant.

This is very accurate my new light friend noticed this in his first few games. I bought a scuf which fixed it but I didn’t buy it just for destiny and not everyone is gonna blow 200 on a controller

I’ve noticed it too, even with a brand new controller.

I thought I was the only one with this problem, ps4 too. Only my right turn was crippled. I tested this issue and found out that if I tilt the stick all the way right and my character is turning slooowly then when I add a little up or down on that stick the movement kinda unclutters and I start turning with a normal speed. I also thought it was my controller but alas. Now I don't have this issue anymore and I don't know what happened. At some point I just noticed my right turn was normal.

This happens to me aswell but opposite I turn fast left and go really slow right

1 ReplyHaving the same problem, glad to know it's not just me. Loaded another game and no problems so know it's not the controller. When I turn left it goes really slow for the first few seconds and then speeds up until I stop and try to turn again.
