Because there's a limit to how much Quests and Bounties you can take, I had to abandon a few Quests I don't expect to do right now. Those Quests are the Introduction ones, Arsenal of Oddities, etc.
I searched everywhere and a lot of other threads pertaining to these topics do not have a conclusive answer from Bungie themselves. Some people have said that you should go to vendors that do not even have them.
Am I to assume that these Quests are useless and are only there to remind new players that these activities exists if they are not re-attainable? Because if I won't be able to get Outbreak Perfected or Whisper of the Worm because I abandoned it to make room for some Bounties I want to do that day, then that is a serious issue.
Most general Daily Bounties are designed to be done while you play. But these Bounties can stack up to more than 20. The fact that they share a pool for Quests is starting to get on my nerves because of the tedium brought from going to the Tower, then back to the activity to finish and claim them, then back to the Tower to pick up the set you couldn't take, then another activity, then back to the Tower... You get what I mean.
Don't even get me started on Weekly Bounties, especially the Obelisk ones. They last for a week, but you're more or less required to do everything in a day if you want to free up space for the next time you play.
Why is there even a limit when Shadowkeep made it so that most players would have a Quest log full of them? Weekly Bounties shouldn't take up space if that's the case.
9 RepliesThere isn't an exact answer from Bungie to this, but it can be assumed that each item consumes memory. The amount of memory allocated to the pool of bounties and quests also has to be supported on each platform. There are limitations to this amount and probably the main reason why the limit is seemingly random 63. As for the Arsenal of Oddities, which is the Whisper of the Worm, you don't need the quest to get the weapon. Just need to complete the mission. Same applies to the Outbreak Perfected. There are several good guides on YT and reddit. Not sure what you mean by introduction quests, an exact name would help. Also, if you wish the feedback to be seen by the correct dev team, then #FeedbackD2 is the place for that.
