Something just feels off guardians, the content is badly outdated, the activities are weak, the developers seem content with the anger and frustration of the community. Anyone else feeling this way?

6 RepliesWe are currently on "Dying Breath Prediction 1427". Please wait a moment to see if your epic Nostradamus moment will pan out like all the others before it. I have high hopes for this one.

Edited by KillarWatz: 1/2/2020 10:13:04 PMRip i cant play it without looking at the loading screen and getting triggered just to close the game

1 ReplyI have inside sources that say there will be no D3 and they are now working on the netease game.
-
It’s like this. They will drop some must have weapons next season. And G horn will return to being everyone back for last hurrah before D3
-
It's that bad at the moment I've started playing pvp.

6 RepliesEdited by Kouz_MC: 12/31/2019 3:48:44 AMPlayer count is terrible. Twitch streams are the worst. Not even able to yield 10k carry beggars or booty lovers, for a game like destiny, that is pretty much about that only! In fact half of the 4/7k are actually fake. Many F2P players. Even more Shadowkeep owners who didn’t buy into the seasonal content. Underwhelming artifact, trash seasonal rewards, and trash seasonal mods and content didn’t convince many who waited to see the content to buy into the season. Worst, the next season having trials, these players are now sure of not buying the next content. I said it some time ago already. 2020 is going to be a terrible year for Bungie. I hope Luke Smith managed to BS/convince all the businessmen to secure D3’s release already, or that they can milk the few players who like to buy everything.
-
Bungie cannot keep doing season passes like this it’s going to eventually do enough damage that they cannot recover.
-
I think the next month will be the time go see just how bad its become, the last week or so you can understand that alot of Bungies staff are on holidays, it's a base live team just monitoring what's happening. Bungie need to come out in the next 2 weeks and address alot of the concerns that players have. From quests, armor 2.0 grind every season now to be able to equip certain mods, setting quests that destroy the quality of life in-game that Bungie always tells us they're trying to improve. If they keep silent or barely address the community's issues soon, then I can't see a way back for Bungie and Destiny.

Edited by TJ_Dot: 1/1/2020 3:04:42 AMI want it to be just they'd snap the hell out of it. Things need to change, and suffering seems to be the only way they might consider it. Wish it wasn't the case, but this is Luke Smith we're talking about, the guy who gives 0 craps about our money and wants us to throw it at our screens. We don't have much to work with, considering our feedback feels like talking to a brick wall that sometimes gives a hand gesture through a tiny slit. Our feedback isn't acknowledged by people and isn't responded to by such.

I don’t think it’s a dying breath, more like continuation minimum required life support since the blistering failure of d2 launch/curse of Osiris.

42 RepliesEdited by TheArtist: 12/31/2019 9:22:30 PMPeople have been signing this game's death warrant ever since vanilla Destiny and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. ...and NONE of the so-called "Destiny Killer" have seen even the level of success this game has: Call of Duty Titanfall 2 The Divison 1 The Divison 2 Elder Scrolls Online Warframe Anthem. Monster Hunter World. Borderlands 3. Need I go on, or have I made my point yet? What's going on here is very simple. This game has stopped trying to please everyone, and has focused on trying to please a particular type of player. The player who wants to play this game daily, as a hobby. The PVE hobbyist player. So you have a bunch of (understandably) angry and frustrated PVP players....who keep feeling like they're being ignored. And a bunch of more casual PVE players ---and purely loot-motivated PVE players----who are mad because the game now requires more a time commitment to access its rewards than they are willing to give. But instead of owning this, and moving on....they want to curse and shake their fist at Bungie. The irony in all of it, is the louder the poster is complaining and insisting that "Destiny 2 is in a horrible place".....the less and less actual GAME play I see in their history. One guy in a thread I just left had three characters who were still in the mid 800's, while he's going on about how horrible and boring the game is. HOW THE -blam!- CAN YOU KNOW THAT WHEN YOU'VE BARELY PLAYED ENOUGH TO GET THROUGH THE SHADOWKEEP CAMPAIGN? Seriously. People are self-centered and WEIRD. This sorting of the player base is not only necessary to the long term health of the game....it should ahve happend three years ago.

6 RepliesThere's just nothing to do. Yet again out of alk the strikes we are back to Titan this reset. It's just a boring game
-
4 RepliesThe game is in a terrible terrible place. It needs work. Bungie doesnt have the manpower to produce the game we had or want...or deserve. It should be free to play at this point. Do not preorder. But the sycophants love it...so we cant have nice things.
-
Changes will be incoming. They definitely screwed the pooch yet again though. It's definitely the downhill side of the franchise though. Someone will come along with the same gaming model and do it properly.

3 RepliesEdited by Arthur Morgan’s Lungs: 1/1/2020 1:43:35 AMThis is the fastest population drop since Destiny 2 launched September of 2017. Daily numbers have dropped from 3 million daily at the launch of Shadowkeep down to roughly 400,000 daily now. That number may not sound bad, but statistics show that an MMO, which Bungie claims it is, needs to have roughly 1 million daily users to keep proper longevity with meaningful content releases. I can’t say for sure if it’s their last leg because anything can happen from a complete rework to someone buying the IP from them, the former is obviously more likely. I can say that I BELIEVE (I said BELIEVE as in I don’t know for sure or am speaking on behalf of the community.....you few players who do that know who you are) they have burnt bridges with a lot of the seasoned players. I believe any major changes now will be focused towards the Kinderguardians because they don’t know where the game was. So with all this expect A LOT of videos from top streamers defending Bungies choices with Destiny and convincing newer players that this is the best direction they’ve ever gone in. You know, because TTK and Forsaken DEFINITELY weren’t the right direction 🙄🙄 lol. If you do enjoy the game then keep playing it, but don’t convince players that have been around since Alpha and Beta testing of Destiny 1 that the game is the best it’s been because it isn’t. However, you as players are allowed to still enjoy it yourself. Toss a coin to you Witcher.

7 RepliesAfter playing since the very beginning and always wanting more, I can honestly say I could care less right now if they did kill it off. The last 6 months have felt so week that for the first time I have finally lost interest. Been burnt to many time now.

Uh huh

Destiny has been "killed" by so many things. The Division 1 was supposed to kill it. Titanfall 2 was supposed to kill it. Borderlands 3 was supposed to kill it. All those CoD games. Apex and Fortnite. None of them did though. So I say let's just wait and see.
-
Time will tell. This isn’t the first time the demise of Destiny has been declared by detractors.
