Edited by MR ICECOLDCOLE: 1/13/2020 7:19:29 PMHunter Male exo designation - Yang 000 An exo that was never reset, A married couple who where in the special forces together taken from old Russia for rasputins exo program, even tho the resurrection took most of his memories, like felwinter he retains some memories of before including his wife, the crypt and the most memorable mission he and his counterpart where sent on where they encountered redacted ships on the edge of sol during the beginning of the collapse. He split from his wife on the way back to mars for an emergency stop he had to make at the colony launch site in old Russia where a anarchist with a uranium core anti material rifle took pot shots at the exo guards in an attempt to secure passage on the fleeing colony ship unit killed in action hours before redacted showed up on earth. Later resurrected in old russia before the finding of the black garden, Yang would go on to be part of some of the larger gaurdian feats such as becoming the young wolf, Receiving recognition as the Hero of the taken war and Being part of the team that finally put and end to crota he has also been awarded the title of hive bane and still wears the taken kings emblem proudly on his ghost projection as no hive dares to fly there fallen kings banner as he lives. He is still in active duty and was one of the heroes of the red war, the curse breakers of the dreaming city and even defeated xol, bring his God kill count to 3...... Titan Female exo designation - Ying 1 After hearing of the loss of her counter part unit Rasputin recalled Ying Back to mars for emergency mission briefing and combat protocol update , but during the protocol update rasputin also ran his own crypt protocols to remove the units co dependency sub routines, when ying-1 woke she had no memory of the past or yang other than her solo combat experience and her being bound to rasputin. She than began assisting other rasputin exos with evacuation protocols until a skyshock event was declared on mars at that point she began operation cinders where all local on site drives at the brays facility in the dust palace where to be liquidated. During a interface with charlemagne Ying-1 was critically wounded from a long range fusion based projectile. Origins unknown ,last know pre death telemetry suggests :error: Ying-1 was one of the first gaurdians resurrected in the barren cold dunes of mars but do to centuries of decay and the fact her ghost "dinklebot" had traveled through the vacuum of space alone to reach her ,Ying was trapped for half a century in the dust palace. Pulling information of drives that wernt liquidated ying learned about the exo program, the traveler, the charlemagne project and more eventually leading to ying-1 locating a experimental ship known as the "unsecured outcry" and heading home towards the traveler arriving shortly after the iron lords had fallen to the siva crisis, With her secured braytech knowledge ying-1 knew of the vex and there technology. She later would be part of fire teams that would lead the assult into the vault of glass and help bring skolas to justice before he could amass an army during the house of wolves rebellion and assist Ikora ray in reconciling with osiris during the infinite forest debacle Later after the red war by happen stance YING-1 and YANG-000 where reunited during the dreaming city conflict when it was discovered it was a combination of hive and vex causing the curse the vangaurd bringing in both there expertise. YANG-000 fortunatly had proof enough to convince Ying-1 of there bond do to him retaining pre collapse memories he had gathered some of there shared belongings and kept them in the tower , even without her memory she felt a connection with YANG-000 and have been known to team up regularly when dealing with hive and vex problems since there experience togethers much more valuable then when apart (they both have dedicated fireteans for when there not together although in typical hunter fashion YANG-000 sometimes goes it alone such as when he faced the shattered throne alone and killed Duke encaru ) now they reside together in The tower and despite there disagreements on the drifter and vangaurd they still share there bond from when they were young. Awoken warlock - designation Calamity also known as the "undying" one or the way Ferrer. A warlock resurrected from a crashed awaken ship she is among some of the first light berers to be resurrected in sol, her ship found deep at the bottom of a ravine in the ruins of the Manhattan nuclear zone Her ghost , toaster (what he called himself) is a brave little guy .after resurrection Calamity was one of the many who would be first know as the risen and later the war lords , controlling the entirety of what was once known as Cuba when the city age came around Calamity shepherded the all the people who adored her across the see to the Ukraine where the last safe city was being built, 1000 souls left and by the end of the journey between fallen scavengers and a really unlucky hive seeder crashing into there campsite in the ruins of the UK (no hive lived to tell the tale)only half made it. although they where still grateful and in the coming century's they multiplied and founded the new monarchy faction in the city with one of the refugees great great great grandson being the executor himself. These days Calamity distances herself from the city and ity people prefer to take orders threw radio or proxys at the farm but on rare days she can be spotted into the tower meeting with the hidden, Having been threw some of the darkest conflicts in gaurdian history including surviving the great disaster and seeing the light be stolen by the legion she has adopted alot of methods of harnessing the darkness to be wielded against the darkness including helping the drifter design the malfeasance and going on solo nightfall level events to keep humanity safe , some say under all that's scary torn armour she has been seen baking cookies and eating candy whatever she can do to hold onto her humanity for humanity's sake

1 ReplyI don’t know how much lore this will contradict, but I guess it’s worth a try. The Ghost scanned the computer, it was a security system that had cameras all over this colony ship. The Traveler chose warriors to be guardians, and this Ghost had finally found a body with a spark. If he could search the security footage for the exact moment the soon-to-be guardian had died, maybe he could confirm that this was who he was looking for. Hours had passed before he found a moment that stood out. The audio was a warbled mess, and sections of the video were corrupted. A group of people moved about in this very corridor, two females and three males, they looked to be in their 20’s. They looked like part of the exodus project, and one of the males was carrying a hand-gun. They moved with such haste and fear, as if they were running from something..... An argument broke out between the five of them and lasted for a good 30 seconds before they were interrupted by something offscreen. The sound began working as the person with the handgun motioned for the others to retreat into the room behind them. They complied, as he fired a few rounds off screen. He soon followed, but turned back as heavy, rapid footsteps could be heard down the corridor. He pressed a button on a panel next to the door, locking it shut with the others behind it, but locking himself out. What sounded like screeching machinery could be heard before the video cut into static ...the door was now torn out of the wall, and four skeletons lay behind it..... This was the one.... ———————————————————————— I woke, startled, with a small metal drone looking down at me. “Guardian? Eyes up, Guardian.” It stared, seemingly excited, its one blue eye blinking. “It worked. You’re alive! You have no idea how long I’ve been looking for you.” I looked around for a moment. Rusting walls surrounded me, and the air was thin here. The corridor was dimly lit, with a single light above a doorway, and ten computer screens displaying only static. The only sound here was the wind howling down the corridor. I stood up, and looked down at myself. My body was covered by brown and white, thin armor plating. “What are you?” “I’m a Ghost. Actually, now I’m your Ghost. And you’ve been dead for a long time, so you’re going to see a lot of things you won’t understand.” “Well, that’s just great.” I was ready to ask another question but was interrupted by a chilling growl in the distance. My ghost took a glance down the corridor, “This is Fallen territory, we aren’t safe here.” “So where do we go?” “This is an old cosmodrome. So it’s not too crazy to think we could find an old jumpship nearby. But first, we need to get off this colony ship.” “Sounds easy enough. Are there any weapons nearby?” “I saw one at ground level. An old Khvostov.” “Well, lets go.” I walked out of the corridor, into the blinding light. It only got crazier after that....
I’m not good at writing or storytelling, ok?
1 ReplyEdited by Dancing_Downer: 1/3/2020 9:40:21 AMI never knew her in life. Her first life anyway. I knew she died in a battle long ago. Wait, is she a she or he a she? I don’t remember. I remember it raining on the day of his resurrection. It was somewhere east of the EDZ, somewhere in an old town. Fallen were looting left and right, one even tried to eat me. Naturally I gave it the good old Ghostie Von Buckete triple pocket sand sha sha sha rekt treatment. Eventually after evading the patrols, I found her in between some boxes. When he was resurrected she had many questions, however I wasn’t in the place or mood for any of that. We made our way out of the town, with only a 7 shot handcannon at our side. I had to send out a distress signal to the city, as we were now deep in fallen territory. Unfortunately for us the fallen heard it and tracked it down. I remember the fire fight vividly. 7 resurrections, and 142 fallen killed. It had to be a painful experience for him. Getting killed over and over again, it must’ve been horrible. After a night of fighting and running we found our way to a fallen skiff. Seeming to have no other option, I was forced to hack into it and take control of it. You ever fly one of those things when you have the equivalent to a 5 year old super soldier on board? Yeah. It wasn’t fun. After escaping the clutches of the bug like -blam!-, I remember our first real conversation. “So... who are you?” “I’m gho-“ “Wait, what are you?” “I’m a ghos-“ “What were those things?” “They were fa-“ “What is this thing?” “It’s a fallen sk-“ “Where are-“ “God damn it you little shit, here’s the deal: you’ve been dead, I resurrected you with the power of the almighty white orb. I’m a ghost. My name is whatever you want to call me. Those were fallen, scavengers ftom another planet. We’re on one of their skiffs so we can travel to the last safe city.” “...oh...” “I’d appreciate it if you’d shut up for a minute and let me think.” “Ok...” “Ok.” ... “Can I call you Kyle?” “No.” “Chad?” “No.” “Can I call you Blaine The Plane?” “What the fu- no! No you can’t!” “Why not?” I started to form an explanation on why that was one of the dumbest things ever, but as I now know, our stolen skiff apparently needed to be refueled. In fact, it needed so much, that the fallen must’ve started to fuel it, but some pesky ghost stole it in the process! Wouldn’t it suck to be that ghost? What a nerd am I right? The inevitable happened and our ship went down in an old fortress. My guardian, being the biggest little shit I’ve ever met, looked me dead in my eye and simply said: “Another happy landing!” Under 24 hours old, and they know prequel memes. Coincidentally, my least favorite type of meme. Thankfully for her, we were found by a kind fireteam. The rest is history. We went to the tower, did some patrols, a few strike operations, crucible, and various other tower duties. I miss my guardian. He annoyed me on many occasions, mostly when after a fight she’d start doing a little dance, but I miss those times. My memory isn’t that good anymore, I can’t even remember what they looked like. I remember their voice though. Sometimes after watching a crucible match I’ll hear it. “Can I call you Blaine The Plane?” Yes... yes you can...

1 ReplyMy Warlock. My ghost is dead. Replacing it is my new partner, also a ghost, Spark. His Guardian died during the siege of the tower caused by the Red Legion. I’ve had a life long enough to know the strength of Cabal such as Valus and the Psion Flayers, but never the might of this faction of Cabal. And after we took back the tower, I decided to spend my life away from the harmful outside, knowing I would not be as lucky as I was that day. During my ‘retirement’, I have heard of many entities that I have grown to gain an interest for. Xol. The return of the Taken. The Dreaming City. Savathūn. And hearing of all this, I decided there was much to be explored. I was one of the many Guardians to return to the Moon. As I ventured, I found new curiosity, the Nightmares. I was with Ikora when we saw the Pyramid. I witnessed the Vex’s devotion to it’s....shapelessness. And I started to wonder. So, I read the Books of Sorrow. And witnessed the origins of the Hive, as I realize: Everything leads back to the Darkness. Shortly after, the Red Legion found the Sundial Spire, and the Traveler was again under threat by the Cabal. I of course partake in the reconstruction of time itself. I write this now because I want the reader to know that I seek answers through everything I do. Answers regarding the Darkness. Because what’s the point of hiding behind walls when the threat is closer than we think? This has been Kaiju-2, signing off.

1 ReplyEdited by f3: 12/30/2019 1:33:36 AMk so this is my totally original backstory It was the 27th of Last Seed; the Year of Akatosh, 433, the closing days of the Third Era. Emperor Uriel Septim VII, the 21st Emperor of the Septim Dynasty and son of Pelagius IV, fleeing the Imperial City after the triple assassination of his sons Geldall, Enman, and Ebel, passed a man in a prison cell as he made his way through a secret underground tunnel. Recognizing the prisoner from his dreams, he said, “You ... I've seen you... Let me see your face... You are the one from my dreams... Then the stars were right, and this is the day. Gods give me strength. Eyes up, LaGuardia." He frees the prisoner and they continue through the tunnels. Emperor Uriel Septim then tells the prisoner, ”My guards are strong and true, but even the might of the Blades cannot stand against the Power that rises to destroy us. The Prince of Destruction awakes, born anew in blood and fire. These cutthroats are but his mortal pawns. Take my Amulet. Give it to Jauffre. I have a secret son, and Jauffre alone knows where to find him. Find the last of my blood, and close shut the marble jaws of Oblivion.” Shortly thereafter he is killed by members of the Mythic Dawn, and the prisoner is left with the task of finding Uriel’s illegitimate son, lest the barrier between Tamriel and Oblivion be broken.

Edited by SillyLilMahl: 1/5/2020 2:01:50 PMHunter, Post Collapse [Pre Taken War], Louisiana. My story started after the Collapse occurred. My head was fuzzy, I couldn’t remember a thing. My ghost woke me up exactly when some fallen had shown up. I told them that we were not a threat. Yet, they ignored what I said, they were of the House of Kings. There were two dregs and one vandal. They immediately proceeded to open fire. I dodged the first few shots, yet I died during the second barrage of arc energy. The fight took only two wipes and 16 knife swings. After that was over we crossed the city ruins and made our way to an old military base. On the way there we had a chat. “What are you?” I asked the ghost. The ghost responded with this “I am a ghost, I am your ghost.” Once the chat was over we had finally made it to the old military base. We searched the base for a ship that we could use to get to the Last City. I found my gun, a modified P-90, on a table near the entryway. We proceeded further into the base, I asked my ghost more questions. One of those questions was about my identity. “Who am I?” I asked my ghost. All it responded with was this: “I never knew, not in your first life, that is, who you are is up for you to decide.” I then proceeded to check my pockets just in case there was something there that could help. All I found was nothing. We found the only functioning entrance to the hangar, the problem was that it was sealed by a keycard, that and a code. To open the door a keycard must be inserted or the passcode must be entered. My ghost got to work on opening the door. I looked around for a keycard to open the door. I eventually found one near a computer. The card had a person’s ID and their age on it, as well as their access level (1 - 7). The keycard was a level 7 access card from the security department. The person in the photo looked a lot like me. Hell, the keycard belonged me. The information on the card read as follows: “Karov Drëk, Age: 21” I rushed over to door, and swiped the keycard. The door opened slowly, what was beyond it was a prototype ship. The ship in question was a “Phoenix-Class” Jumpship. The ship was complete with a warp-drive, Warmind stealth technology, among other things. The ship could only open on voice activation, or a finger ID. I touched the screen and the ship turned on. The AI that controlled the ship spoke exactly like Ray Bradbury. I told Bradbury to set the ship, which was named “Solar Eclipse”, to go to the Last City. While we were heading towards the City I told my ghost who I was, I showed him the keycard. He told me that his name was Nexus. We were followed by Fallen skiffs from the House of Kings. I switched the ship to autopilot and made my way to the turret control terminal. I set the turrets to arc energy and fired away at the skiffs. I knocked down two of them. The other five dodged the arc energy. I decided to use the seeker missiles to get rid of them. The missiles hit one skiff which caused a chain reaction and destroyed most of the other skiffs, the skiffs retreated back to Louisiana. We made it to the Last City safe and sound. Later I would have nightmares of past and present events. Though I did not know that now. The Tower offered a lot adventures that were to come, adventures that would shape my legacy as a Hunter.

He and his fiancé (also Clovis bray) were in old Russia checking the bunker there when the collapse hit. He sent her off on a ship they found and he picked up the khovostov before running through the wall. Got killed by the dark invaders when he attempted to flee via the highway. Resurrected as a hunter who can recall his old life memory’s but only in specific examples were he interacts with objects that have meaning to him. But there only little flashes. Now? Edited by Ferus Lux: 12/30/2019 11:55:30 AMMy Guardian died of Auto-erotic asphyxiation and when his Ghost revived him, he had the plastic bag over his head still and died a couple times extra until a big enough hole tore in the bag and he could breath out of it. A fallen captain heard his montage of deaths and using his new Guardian strength, he quickly pulled his butt plug out and threw it with such force that it pierced through the Fallen Captains neck, snapping it. It was his first weapon, so to honor it, he mounted it on his Ghosts shell who objected at first but came around eventually.

Well, since I was able to make my Human Hunter look exactly like my Mass Effect Shepherd (the least emo character I could make 🙄), her story in Destiny picks up right after the ending of Mass Effect 3. So yeah, my Guardian has seen some shit. All in space as it happens to be.

Let’s hear it. I’m curious to read what you guys say.
Long before he took upon the name Dredgen, he was a hero. A broken one, but a hero none the less. He was an architect of the grey spaces, always looking for the neutrality in everything. He ended many fights without weapons, and was a symbol of peace. He wasn’t a child of the Red War or one of the Old Russians. He was older, hailing from the Americas. And he was immortal... “Guardian. Wake up, guardian!” I awoke to the sound of a small shining sphere speaking to me, coaxing me awake. My eyes felt heavy, like they had been closed for years. I sat up on the concrete floor I was on, and the sphere continued, “There is danger. We must move quickly.” It started to move away from me, so I got up and started to follow it. I looked around me and saw that I was in a skyscraper. “Who are you? What are you?” I asked the sphere, “And who am I?” “I am Silver, a Ghost. The Traveler made me to find out guardians like you, people who protect the Last City of humanity.” “Who am I?” “A guardian. Did you not hear a word I just said?” “No, no. I heard you. But WHO am I? What’s my name?” “You can make up your own. You have no name.” “Fine. Call me Vrael.” “Okay then, Vrael. We need to move. There is danger.” “What kind of danger?” “The fun kind.” The Ghost, Silver, proceeded to the window. She looked at me expectantly, almost as if she wanted me to- “Jump.” She stated bluntly. “Excuse me?” I asked ludicrously. “You heard me. Jump.” “Silver, I will die from this height. We are fifty stories above the ground!” “At least fifty. Just use your glide-jump thing that you warlocks do.” “Huh?” “Just do it. If you die I can revive you, so consider this training.” I peered out the window and looked down. The ground was covered in ivy and growth. The whole city was covered in vegetation, I realised. The sun was just setting over a giant lake, ruins of great ships in a small harbour to the north. Small movements near a cluster of makeshift buildings caught my attention. They were running, and I could make out distant screams. I could see smoke coming from the buildings, and a small skiff firing at them. “Ghost?” “Jump!” I took one last look at the sun as I jumped, falling headfirst and shouting as I did. Silver transmatted away as I fell, and the wind bit at my face. As I approached the ground, the skiff turned my way and started to fire. I threw up my hands and blinding light reflected the energy bullets back. I tried to stop myself from hitting the ground as it approached, but failed. I smashed against the ground with the sound of cannon, dying instantly. The sun finally set over the city of Cleveland as my Ghost revived me, and I made my way to the village, prepared for anything. -Dredgen Qēox, recounting his first moments as a guardian See my post in new.

titan used to be the goody two-shoes type, always being the nice guy and helping others but once cayde died she started hanging around drifter and eventually became a dredgen. after our first trip back in time to help saint, she started thinking about her choices up to that point and started down her path to redemption and is currently working on severing her ties with the more... dubious people she worked with warlock was always a nice person, albeit maybe a little standoff-ish. she was always fascinated with the hive and vex, wondering how their tech and magic worked and eventually she started reading into toland's research and osiris' theories. hunter was one of cayde's vanguard scouts until she became the young wolf and a mentor to newly rezzed guardians. when cayde was murdered she started hanging with drifter and the titan more until she realized cayde wouldnt like the path she was going down. she is currently still struggling with who and what she wants to be but is helping saint readjust to life in the tower. sorry if all this sounds more like rambling, im very tired rn

Titan- Awoken male soldier. Killed by the Fallen during the Reef Wars, later revived and made his way to earth. Has an instinctive protective urge and loyalty towards fellow Awoken. Hunter- Just one of many human soldiers that died during the formation of the last city. Feels most comfortable stalking the wilds around the city but never strays too far. Warlock- Awoken male that emigrated to earth. Always possessed a curious and scholarly demeanor but didn’t enjoy violence. Killed by a band of scavengers while investigating some old tech. Got revived and while he doesn’t mind violence anymore, still a scholar at heart.
