I actually have the gun. One of the very first players to get it. Anyone saying it comes from Spider is just copy-pasting the first person who said it, and that person was mistaken. The gun itself very clearly reads, “Extremely rare world drop.” Nothing about Spider. It’ll drop from anything, anywhere, eventually.

Mine came from a Spider Bounty and I got mine with the first few days of Forsaken.

Sure, “Extremely rare world drop” Engrams can drop from [i]anything[/i]. Just because it [i]can[/i] drop from a bounty (Spider or otherwise) doesn’t mean it can [i]only[/i] drop from that bounty source. When mine dropped, I immediately equipped it to check it out. I was in a fireteam of clan mates and naturally, everyone wanted to see it. I read off it’s type and perks for everyone in chat. When I pulled that trigger though, we had to disengage combat and retreat because we were all confused by “shotgun or pulse rifle?!” It was very memorable. There are items in game which clearly show they come exclusively from Spider bounties. The Lord of Wolves is not one of them.
