I think that the radar should not go away when you aim. I think it should be defaulted so it will stay while you aim, unlike wearing an exotic armorpiece to give you that.
(What do you have to say on this topic/opinion?)

It's fine the way it is for the reasons a couple people have already stated in other comments.

1 ReplyI think for any primary weapon it should allow it. Any thing that uses green ammo, no sir. I do not want an arbalest or other sniper just sitting there in one spot for any longer than necessary. So just for white ammo weapons imo

Disagree. Its fine as it is. Radar is extremley powerful and useful. ADS radar would just promote camping and laning with no drawbacks since they can just hardscope and check their radar when someone is flanking.

9 RepliesEdited by an Ape with a d2 addiction: 12/30/2019 12:40:26 PMI disagree. Radar is already powerful enough that folks rely it on it to the point where when someone actually goes invisible it completely catches most off guard. Having ADS radar for everyone would just promote laning and camping even more, which isn't a good thing. It'd especially make snipers far more safe to use, which isn't a good thing either given how much kill potential they already have across all ranges. Knowing when to ADS so that you don't lose awareness is a skillset. If you feel unsecure while temporarily ADSing with no radar you're too reliant on radar and/or ADSing too much. Try keeping track of where the enemies are without the radar. You see the red ping. You know the area where they are. You also know they know where you are, since they have their red pings too. Now try assuming what're they gonna do next? Predict and suddenly you know where they'll be even without the red ping. Listening to sound queues can help while ADSing. Turn music off and SFX effects to maximum. Has saved me from many handhelds, doorway hoverers and fusion rifles.

4 RepliesSo, we're just going to make Knucklehead Radar as a whole, part of Ace of Spades and part of MIDA pointless?

MIDA and Ace of Spades is all you need.

It's been this way for 5 years in Destiny. Pretty sure since halo combat evolved. Would it be nice, sure but in real life, it's hard to know what's going on when you look down a scope. Can you use mida? Knuckle head radar
